A friend hipped me to an Indaba remix contest of Bon Iver tracks somewhere around the end of 2012/beginning of 2013. I checked it out and found some elements of the source material for "Michicant" inspirational and useful, so I got to work. All sounds from the stems.

One of many drones I've made with the Korg MS-20m desktop synth. More bass than 55. This synth has bass in spades when you want it.

One day my partner told me I was snoring, so I asked if she wouldn't mind recording what it sounded like because I was interested in hearing the timbre. My field recording interests run deep, apparently. :) She kindly recorded me snoring a number of times, including these five times I've edited and strung together here. I also asked her to wake me up so that I could change positions to stop snoring and let her sleep again. It just so happens that what I say in response to her telling me I'm snoring is sometimes amusing. I curse at one point, so this warrants a NSFW tag.
