Initially captivated by the industrial and darker sounds, with influences like Ansome, he has since evolved to draw inspiration from trance artists such as Hoymans and KI/KI, as well as B2, Amstra, and In Verruf. His ability to read the crowd and stay authentic is paramount, emphasizing the importance of remaining true to oneself in an industry that often pressures artists to conform.

To up-and-coming local artists, his advice is clear: stay true to what you love, even if recognition takes time. Your hard work will eventually reach the right ears. He admires local talents like Natura2k, Inverted, Reactant, Parvatis, and Müz, and appreciates figures like Mulligan who provide vital support to emerging artists.

For him, the ultimate reward is seeing people's reactions and the unparalleled joy of producing music.

Barcelona based, with Russian roots, Sestrica is well talented girl, with some great releases and live acts behind. Now, she releasing bandcamp exclusive, 2 track EP 'not again' dedicated to the people with mental health problems.

'Ten years ago, I experienced my first psychotic episode.
The medication I was prescribed said “for the treatment of schizophrenia,” and I was terrified.
It turned out to be just an episode, or so I thought.
In 2022, the psychosis returned.
I ended up in a psychiatric hospital and was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder.
I've been sober for three years now, taking my meds and doing everything I can to stay well.
But recently, I experienced what doctors call a “psychotic echo,” like a mini-breakdown, only worse because you’re fully aware.
This EP is about those moments, the feeling that no matter how hard you try, the illness can still find you.

But…we keep living, learning, and enjoying life. As much as we can.'

Kaytranada Boiler Room Los Angeles DJ Set

I’ve been testing this track out on the road for the better part of 12 months, tweaking the moments until I felt it had just the right amount of dance floor appeal. It’s been so exciting to watch people connect with it right in front of me. I wrote the hook after wrapping up a club show at Audio in San Francisco back in June 2018. The crowd was really gravitating towards sustained, rolling grooves that night, so when I got back to the hotel I really felt the need to make one that was just for them. The speech in the breakdown is a sample of a local San Franciscan dance legend who I’ve respected for a long time, and I felt it was just too perfect to let the track out into the world without it.
