It must be quite obvious by now that the Afternoon Umbrella Friends LOVE celebrating the holidays. That's why we're bringing you a very special episode of the Overcast - a fabulously festive disco set brought to us by one of San Diego's greatest tastemakers, Jimbo James.

We sometimes think of Jimbo as a machine, a man with a plan and a team that is in the process of building a media empire right out of San Diego. House heads can hardly browse SoundCloud these days without running into a Music is 4 Lovers feature, or five. The amount of content that is distributed under the platform that he's built is remarkable - there's the numerous quality mix series', the record label, the livestreams, the blog, and of course their Lovelife event series. Despite working with big names all around the world, he also keeps close tabs on everything going down in San Diego, and has made MI4L an avenue for our local artists to be seen by the rest of the world. San Diego is lucky to have Jimbo James, and we're lucky to get to work with him and to be able to call him a friend!

LeBaron James is comprised of members Mark Beshai and Jeff Webb, who started as a duo in 2017 with the intentions of making fun disco house edits.  Hailing from Toronto, they’ve had releases on labels like Spacedisco Records, Fogbank, Mood Funk, Juiced Music, Cruise Music and more, alongside their independent edit releases.

In addition to their original productions & edits, they also host a mix series entitled Champagne Selections.  Fun, upbeat, and funky vibes are the recurring theme in both their productions and mixes.
