Hi Everybody, for the 35th edition of the My Favorite Things Show I’m very happy to welcome, two brothers from Parisian suburbs: Mojazz and Azgroove. 

One is specialist in Jazz music, the other one is a great Funk Lover. It was for me very logical to focus this brand new show on the Jazz funk Music. As usual I have opening the show with some of my last digging tracks with 4 downtempo lovely nuggets.

Then the two have selected 20 masterpieces of jazz funk and fusion jazz, mainly from the 70’s (including some forgotten treasures from George Duke, Ben Sidran, Jimmy Owens, Eddie Harris, …) as well as a few future classics like the great MF Doom Cover by the Soul Supreme and the UK Jazz Funk Band The Expansions.

We are proud to present the first episode of 2021 with one of our founders and mentors, CHUS. DJ and Electronic Music Producer, born and raised in Madrid, Spain. Founder of Stereo Productions, and creator of the pioneering Iberican Sound. 
His Music style is a delicious blend of Organic House, warm and intense with a vital and robust Tribal essence fuses naturally with melodic and evolving sounds, percussion rhythms, and drums. A long haul career based on his self-taught character and his constant defense of musical quality has turned him into one of the industry's most respected DJs. Hailed worldwide for his excellent production works, including official remixes for world-renowned artists like Madonna, Chus displays remarkable versatility enabling him to play in small clubs to life-size festivals. Throughout the past three decades, CHUS has been the pioneer and creator of the underground movement known as 'Iberican Sound' and his imprint record label Stereo Productions. His evolution throughout the past years has led him to the pinnacle of the global music scene. All these years of hard work, absolute dedication, undisputed professionalism, and a constant evolution in sounds have led him to the summit of success. Chus's strength resides in his charisma and the unique and pure way he chooses to engage with people. Chus represents an invaluable legacy of sound, where his blend of styles is his dogma and the quality, his message.
