Okay, for those of you who don't know:
Underswap Reroll is essentially Underswap but with anime girls.
Original idea, go figure. But anyways, I have no affiliation with "Undertale Rerolled", which is a completely different AU. It's very cool though, you should go check it out.

Underswap Reroll was originally supposed to be a comic series, but who knows when I'll get around to doing that. I should also probably write a lore page... eh, some other day.

So. this is the Megalo for my AU. Of course I would start with the Megalo, why wouldn't I?

Dissension, my beloved. I am not lying when I say that I consider this my best megalo and maybe even my best song released on this platform ever. Honestly when I started working on it I wasn't thinking of my take as you know a "big cover", but I don't know it just came out like that, I think I was veery inspired when I made this haha. My favorite thing about the original dissension is how while being one of the classic au megalos it had something so different and original that the others didnt have, it always really impressed me. 
I really wasn't expecting this song to blow up so much, especially since this upload here is actually a reupload, since the first version had a very poorly mixed guitar (this now has like 1.5 million views on yt 😭)

as usual this is like version 20 of an attempted cover

or maybe it's just an entirely original song passed off as an undertale song idk

also testing new-ish drums and switching guitars back to AME II instead of AGPF because it fits the song better (just kidding i still used AGPF but it's like not noticeable in the song at all)

i was planning on adding jp lyrics, but i don't have the means nor the mode to do so at the moment. so sorry if it feels a bit empty.

inspired by artists like kairiki bear and inabakumori, i wanted to try emulating the j-rock style, and i think i did pretty well. that's probably why it doesn't sound like your generic megalovania arrangement. i haven't been able to fully master the guitars yet, but i'm getting close. i'm also planning on uploading more songs of the same caliber so stay tuned

i might upload some of the earlier wips that are closer to the original if you're interested.

hi it's my birthday

no there aren't any vocals yet, stop complaining
i've been wanting to do a song like this for a while, but haven't gotten it to sound right
still haven't, i think it sounds terrible, even disregarding my atrocious mixing
i was really inspired by the blue archive anime opening (which is absolutely amazing if you haven't listened to it yet), and i think that's evident in the song
there are more j-rock songs in the future as well so look out for that i guess
also i might start posting my music to youtube as well, like remastered versions (by remastered i just mean like fixing small things and better mixing), so stay tuned for that i guess

i REALLY wanted to have this upload be Phase 3, being both on my birthday and for the 1000 follower special
but i guess it'll have to wait for now because we're not anywhere near the second goal, and the song's only like 1/3 of the way finished and i also don't think it sounds any good
at least not up to par with how i want it to sound and how i want the song to feel
