Fifteen years after Diplo co-founded the group, Major Lazer is officially welcoming a new member, America Foster. In this exclusive commentary, the breakout British-Jamaican artist breaks down key tracks from Major Lazer’s latest release, ‘GYALGEBRA.’ The track “BRUK DOWN” is a feel-good anthem, America says, while describing the song “GOAT” as “such a vibe.” On the track “GANGSTA,” she says, “we step out, show out, and we’re ballsy,” she says laughing, adding “There’s no other way to put it.” Elsewhere, the track “PEPPA POT” is for all those shy moments in the bedroom: “Put on this song, and the freakiest self is gonna show and reveal,” America says, exclaiming “At least it does for me!” Hear more from Major Lazer’s America Foster, only on SoundCloud.

Soulful hip-hop trio Planet Giza just dropped the third and final installment of their latest project, ‘The Sky Is Recording Me: 100 Years Later.’ In this exclusive commentary, vocalist Tony Stone discusses the making of key tracks from the Montreal-based group’s release. The Mobile rapper FattMack, who recently moved to Atlanta, gets personal with his latest album, ‘McKenzie,’ titling the project after his real first name. In this exclusive commentary, FattMack walks us through the making of key tracks from the album, which marks his third album release of 2025 and arrives after being named part of SoundCloud’s 2025 class. The melodic rapper explains how the track “LL Smaky,” marks the most meaningful song on the project, named after his lifelong friend who passed away. Cole, Isaiah Rashad, J.I.D, Joey Bada$$ and more, MARCO PLUS explains how he cut the track “airmail” in New York City with the producer Ovrkast, adding, “Shout out, he’s amazing.” Over in Los Angeles, he recorded “jamal crawford” with producer Graymatter, explaining how the track, which features Boldy James, grew out of a freestyle and “came together very nicely.” A member of the Backseat!
