We look closely at Nous Disques Records releases here at LYO! Since 2013, the Berlin-based imprint signed many artists we appreciate like Healing forces Project, Moodcut, Route 8 or Karen Gwyer to name a few. For its first release in 2016, Nous starts striking hard with the L.A. based producer Jesse Pimenta aka Dreams who composes a diversified EP with tasteful influences. The record opens with the Detroit techno sound of "Chain", followed by "Voyeur" a minimalist cut haunted by a vocal gimmick and heady strings then "Red Veil" in the same chicago spirit. On the flip side this "Off the grid" is a raw acid track with a diabolically effective render, the ep closes out with "Night Cap" an hypnotic and dubby slo-mo track. Don’t miss this one!

Slavic folk, ambient psychedelia, 20th century minimalism and vocal experiments - Polish band Księżyc floats somewhere between, happily resisting simple genre categorization. The surreal and haunting beauty of their music is amplified by the fairy tale inspired lyrics Remek Hanaj has created.

For this episode, Remek has curated an hour of Eastern European
