Classical recording is usually the domain of high quality Condensers and Ribbon microphones.This is another experimental recording using a pair of Dynamic microphones in a 400 seater concert hall to record an orchestral concert. The microphones are a pair of Soviet era, Russian, Oktava MD-186 set in ORTF configuration on a tall stand 1m behind the conductor. No EQ or processing has been used.
