Our latest demo comes from No Valley, the solo project of Wayne Memmer. Located in upstate New York, he is currently working on his debut album 'Over Time Scattered' -due out in the winter of 2013. He says it will be a 10 song album with sounds ranging from quiet, reflective acoustic songs to straight up garage pop and drawn out guitar freak-outs that fall apart into calming ambient interludes.

With a #1 Hype Machine record under his belt, San Francisco's Lane 8 has been a star of the 2013 underground with support from Majestic Casual, BBC Radio 1's B.Traits and tastemakers across the board. 

Off the back of a release on French Express and "Be Mine", one of the many highlights on #1 iTunes Dance album "Anjunadeep 05", Lane 8 aka Daniel Goldstein returns to the label with two classy deep grooves that merge his unique melodic textures with a new vocal leaning.

Sounding like a cross between Tale Of Us, French Express and Cyril Hahn, lead track "The One" is a slow-burning, deep melodic gem with Patrick Baker's vocals adding an extra layer of catchiness. With early support coming from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and The Magician on his infamous Magic Tape series, "The One" already looks like a future Lane 8 classic.

Showcasing Daniel's versatility, the more indie-pop flavoured "Nothing You Can Say" features the wistful, uplifting vocals of hotly tipped songstress Lucy Stone alongside a melodic, summery electronic dance backing. 

After the success of Sonnentanz, one of 2013's biggest dance tracks, Klangkarussell turn in a monster of a remix of "The One". Having built up a reputation for delicate feel-good melodies, they showcase a much darker side on this one, with a no nonsense beast full of raw bass and distorted vocals.

This is Mincha (AKA Tom Marghem) with his debut EP 'Farewell Fair Enough' released via Trapdoor Records. The French artist has been making music for around 10 years, beginning his journey in Paris, connecting with various Montreal artists & labels along the way. Mincha has picked up attention for the likes of Soulection radio, L.A label Symbols Recordings & the San francisco based Dusty Records.
This four track EP quintessentially introduces Mincha's style, infusing a delicate combination of melody, vocals & original flowing bass lines brought together by sharp, succinct 808s. 2014 is looking bright for the Bordeaux based artist as his refreshing outlook on current bass music will spark future possibilities for new exciting production & live shows.

Slime welcomes Australian producer Seagram Murals to the label for an astonishing foray into the depths of electronica. Drawing from the best elements of the genre's palette, his music is invested with a warmth, dynamism and personality all of it's own that has won him praise from artists such as Tycho.

The six songs presented here form a cohesive whole that brings you under it's spell from the first notes. 'Dawn' sets the tone with a melancholy ambience that is extrapolated into bright new shapes through 'Veritas', before taking flight into 'Albion', saturated in choral echoes and playful melodies. 'Unicorn' unravels the narrative with a subtle twist, circuit-bent strings and stuttering percussion cascading into the consciousness of 'Addled', drenched in a skewed array of chords that becomes a companion to the haunting overtones of 'Tapping' which takes the experience full circle.
