Folk &amp; The Rest are an exciting new musical duo hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, featuring Lyndsay Crothers (vocals, acoustic guitar, percussion) and Matthew Nesbitt – a Finalist in the 2011 Ards Guitar Festival's 'Young Guitarist Of The Year' award - (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonica). 

Fresh from recording their debut self-titled EP, the band will be releasing this record during Belfast Music Week in a concert at The Hudson Bar on the 1st November (also featuring Scream Blue Murmur).

Hi my name is Daniel Chambers, 22.
I was born in Liverpool, UK but am currently living in Manchester whilst studying Economics.
In my spare time I like to mix, produce and record, and really enjoy making music.
I would really appreciate any feedback or views, either positive or negative
so that I can keep making music, keep improving myself as a musician and, most importantly, make as many people as possible happy whilst I'm doing that.

This is all recorded on a four tack tape recorder,,,,Yeah we didnt think in 000010100101000010010000100100000000000100100100100010010010 Back in those days... ! We tried to get something recorded before the tape washed...Never again..... ...But youd be better off doing a do it your self ..........Do a few bowel cancer tests and do a few squats.. Check if your blood sugars are sound.... Do a few laps of the local track...  Masturbate in Queens Park......Ride a wave at Oreti beach when the easterly is blowing...If you've got the gas, head to Curio Bay and shit your head out your neck when the northerly is blowing......You'll be fine. Honest.
