Hi everyone!
Thank you for tuning in on this heavy hardcore mix. It took approx 17 hours to make this all from scratch using stems from the song and pre samples. It all started as and idea to celebrate 300 followers and 35K plays, I started with simple childish gambino until it escalated with pitched snow halation etc. Later on I showed my idea to Wobble, and I asked him for feedback. Until it came to the point where I asked him to join on this ride.

Once again thank you for bearing with me and my content, these 2 and a half months were insane. I got to meet so many new people. Even people I was inspired by. Hello everyone, I have now hit 500 Followers, which is halfway to 1,000 (which tbh this account isn't gonna make it before I hit that milestone cause it's almost out of minutes), but that is not the point! The point is that I wanted to do a collaboration with other talented people for once I hit this milestone, and I decided to cover one of my favorite video game tracks of all time. This is also the first time I've successfully hosted a collab, and I am very happy about how the final product sounded, and I am also very happy everyone here came together and made amazing parts! I seriously can't thank all of you enough! Seriously, I was iffy on doing a collaboration, cause of other collabs I was in where people decided to start shit, (not gonna say what happened), but luckily there was no drama, everyone here made their parts on time and there were no delays (like I feared), and no one dropped out! I said I would make it didn’t I :)? Well, I started making this over a year ago actually, but scrapped it and started over early this year. I realized I needed to get better at audio editing and editing in general to do what I wanted to here, and I thought if I tried making this immediately back then, it’d just be really similar to the other Meme Megamashups. I wanted to include new meme songs along with all sorts of meme songs from different time periods. It was nostalgic looking back on all those, and it made me realize just how freaking many are out there. I’m still getting into random stuff like Scatman and Touhou YTPMVs today, and judging by the amount of meme songs that come back randomly, I think lots of others are, too. The Internet we’ve built is seriously a vast place, and because of it there’s so much art and inspiration that we can experience. This is kind of my love letter to all of that.
