"It's been a long haul down a short road for Vocalist/Guitarist Julia Crawford, who despite 3 years of performing as a member of garage-rock band The Cosmic Eye, has readied herself for Toronto's Indie-Pop main stage with her newest project, VONELLE. 
Set within deep grooves of oscillating riffs and fuzzy-peach jams, VONELLE's first offering, the self-titled EP watches the enduring Toronto quartet sway in and out of the electric canopy. These mindful migrators are poised at the front of their flock. The recent release of their debut EP has alt-blog Grayowl Point confiding,  "So long as they keep combining Crawford’s great vocal range with unusual song structures (as well as the killer keyboard sounds) the band will have a great niche for themselves."
A packed EP release party at Toronto's Cameron House, and an opening spot alongside Captured Tracks band Dignan Porch are recent stamps in VONELLE's passport. Moving into 2013, building on the success of "VONELLE", Crawford has found her stride. With a growing fan base eager for the kind of Offend Maggie prog-pop that gave life to much of the late 2000's alternative scene's, and a devotion to their frantic-yet-polished live show, VONELLE seem to be very aware of their crowd, community, and future."

Dan VanderHelm is an aspiring guitarist and singer, who's influences span from Jeff Buckley to Jimi Hendrix. His playing is profoundly melodic, and exciting to listen to. Dan’s vocals are equally impressive, being able to sing a wide variety of genres with ease. "Dan has a very emotive voice, much like great singers as John Mayer or his clear influence of Jeff Buckley. His voice has so much potential." Dan’s performance’s with Land are emotive, with a stage-side manner that conveys wit and charm, making for an exciting young artist to see live. Soma is an instrumental group that blends neo-soul, jazz, rock and funk to create a rich texture resulting in strong grooves and melodies inspired by groups such as Soulive, Lettuce and Snarky Puppy. Currently based in Toronto, Soma delivers a fresh and exciting funky-soul sound that appeals to the dance and jazz-crowds alike.
