An uncompromising passion for a contemporary, cutting edge sound is what Cid Inc brings to electronic music. Swedish producer Henri aka Cid Inc began his journey into music production in the early 1990s. Based in his home of Sweden, and soon after relocating to Finland, Cid Inc always had an affinity for cutting edge electronics. It’s an enthusiasm that ultimately led him to electronic dance music - and more specifically, house and techno. Henri always aimed for an innovative approach to his studio work and it was that very trait that led to the birth of Mashtronic in 2004. But, it was the formation of Cid Inc in 2008 which really saw his career go into overdrive, a moniker which has seen him release on the world’s best labels, which includes Anjunadeep, Lost & Found, microCastle, Natura Sonoris and, Sudbeat. Not only is his production skill respected, but, his skills as a mastering engineer is sought after by some of the most widely regarded producers, such as Christian Smith, Pig&Dan, Guy J, and Herman Cattaneo.

In 2018 the producer had several Beatport charts success which saw him play worldwide, and in April it will be Australia’s turn for another visit when he returns exclusively for the highly anticipated Enchanted Gardens Party in Melbourne alongside D-Nox, Einmusik, and past Balance Selections compiler, Quivver.

Kevin Huizing AKA Budakid is a Berlin based music producer/dj. Coming from a very musical family, it was only a matter of time before young Budakid started playing an instrument of his own. As a drummer in a drum ensemble, the soon-to-be producer/dj got his first taste of beats and he wanted more. Having a good sense of rhythm helped him as a fledgling dj. Before long, Budakid landed his first residency in one of Utrecht’s most popular clubs. Although he wasn’t of legal age, several clubs asked him to perform and Budakid showed his promise by measuring up to peers twice his age.

But as it happens with a lot of dj’s, only dj’ing wasn’t enough for his own musical output. So Budakid sought out to prove his worth as a self-taught producer. Influenced by the likes of Joris Voorn, Stimming, Trentemøller and acts such as Massive Attack, Radiohead and Caribou, the Dutchman developed a very melodic style of his own. A typical Budakid song has floating melodies, the right set of chords and some strong, energetic vibes all mashed together. All this made him a crowd favorite at festivals like Tomorrowland, Fusion Festival, Sonar Festival, Feel Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event and SonneMondSterne and clubs such as Katerblau (DE), Sissyphos (DE), Watergate (DE), Cafe D’anvers (BE), Thuishaven (NL) and Melkweg (NL).

His music has been already supported by heavyweights such as Sasha, Joris Voorn, Guy J, Kölsch and Deadmau5. That’s something that didn’t happen overnight. Budakid’s tracks have been released on respected labels like Einmusika, Last Night On Earth, All Day I Dream, Get Physical and Audiomatique. Well-known blogs and magazines including Deep House Amsterdam, FAZE Magazine and VICE’s Thump are very enthusiastic about the producer’s tracks. So it’s safe to say Budakid isn’t just another kid on the block. Already regarded as a more than reliable producer/dj by his peers, nothing stands in the way of Budakid to become one of the greats.

The Israeli / Colombian Golan Zocher is an artist with increasing reputation, has just been named by Hernan Cattaneo as an emerging artist worthy of listening, for his part he also presents continuous support of NICK WARREN, GUY J, STEPHAN BODZIN, DARIN EPSILON, CID INC, LONYA, JUST HER, among others, do not stop showing that their music gives and will give a lot to talk about.

He has edited on labels such as Perspectives Digital, Sound Avenue, Crossface Sounds, SoulArt Records, FSOE Records, Balkan Connection, Forward Music, Asymmetric Recording and ClubSonica. Golan has been part of the Resident of Hernan Cattaneo many times, becoming known among the listeners for his first level productions.

In his sets he develops a Progressive House style that goes through the tech house, as if to turn on the night, to then go to pure progressive and finish in a progressive techno, demonstrating an impeccable track handling.

The sage – accompanied by his trusted guide owl - entered the forest with great caution, not knowing what to expect and completely oblivious of the fact that he was the very first human whom the spotter birds had allowed to enter into the witch’s forest.  Ever.  So this was the final destination of the sage’s pilgrimage, which started 2 years earlier in South-East Asia and along the road he connected with many different kinds of mysticism and spirituality in all corners of Asia, including an epic passage through the green valleys of Kazakhstan.  Yet his trusted owl kept on leading the sage westwards all the way to this forest in North-Western Europe.  From the outside, it looked like any other forest but within seconds after entering the woods, he sensed an unusually serene energy.  The forest animals were not shy at all, and they were very curious for these two unexpected visitors, with squirrels sniffing at the sage’s feet and when he stretched out his arm, a couple of perky little birds landed on his hand within seconds (not feeling the least bit intimidated by presence of the owl).  The pilgrim now took his time to savor the surroundings, with flowers of the most magnificent colors blooming everywhere and a variety of pleasant scents coming his way.  After a while he noticed that many animals were moving slowly into one particular direction, so he got curious and decided to follow this unusual procession.   The lush green woods gradually became denser and darker, before getting lighter and brighter again as he neared a glade deep in the forest.  The procession of animals ground to a halt while they all looked into the distance.  The sage looked into the same direction and what he saw left him completely petrified.  In a nearby clearing he saw a young girl – maybe still in her teens - with very long brown hair and an immaculately white dress frolic with some animals, including a couple of wolves.  The sage was unsure about what to do (hide or flee), but when he saw all the animals around him watching this spectacle in a relaxed mood, he decided it was OK to keep on observing this mystery girl while staying out of sight in order not to disturb her.
