'Hide' 2019

Pauline Alexander is an emerging Scottish Singer from Glasgow.  Over the last 10 years she has worked as part of a two piece, performing stripped back acoustic sets offering a seamless mix of folk and easy listening complemented by interpretation of song and original material. Vocally Pauline is very easy on the ear and has been said to have echoes of Sandy Denny, Eva Cassidy or Karen Carpenter. 

Her debut album 'Thoughts For The Masses' was an Iain Anderson 'Album of the  week' on BBC Radio Scotland and has also been widely played on multiple radio stations including BBC Radio Wales, and BBC Radio Ulster. 2013 saw Pauline's 'Dear Sister' Music Video make its TV debut on The Phil Mack Country Show on Showcase TV.  Pauline and guitarist Edwin Gallacher were honoured to be nominated for the 'Isambard Folk Award' (Bristol Folk Festival 2014)

Pauline has previously performed  at 'Celtic Connection's and appeared on STV's Riverside Show as well as providing support for the triple platinum selling artist 'Rumer' on her only Scottish show. 

 2017-2018 Pauline continued to perform around the UK with seasoned guitarist Sandy Stanage offering an eclectic mix of music, including Folk, Contemporary and Blues. 

New material is currently being written and it is hoped that recording will take place early 2023
