Obsession was a vocal trance track written and produced by Mallorca Lee & Rodger Hughes working under the alias Ultra-Sonic. The track cemented the bands reputation as Scotland no.1 live act, touring the world and playing alongside the likes of The Prodigy, Moby, Carl Cox and Sven Vath. The band released three studio albums and one live album selling almost two million records world wide before ending the project in 1998.

With the help of David Forbes and Tom Wilson (r.i.p.) Mallorca found the original vocalist Heather Allan and re-recorded the vocals. Keeping true to the original song he then added his unique tech trance touches to the production that really brings the track back to todays dance floors. Obsessions is a song with a driving bass line that takes the track all the way to a hands in the air break down. Play this track anywhere in the world and you will witness the dance floor sing along to every word - This track was and still is an anthem !

Dortmund 95 is the last single to be taken from Mallorca's debut album XL The album has enjoyed staggering support from just about every DJ worth his salt and Dortmund 95 is one of the tracks they have been talking about.

The inspiration came from the Mayday Raves in Dortmund, Germany circa 1995. Mallorca has captured the soaring German bass driven melodies and angelic stabs but brought them bang up to todays production values, with tough shuffled beats and intense build ups and drops.

On remix duties - Diablik and Oyaebu. An exciting new collaboration from Ukraine and Moscow producers. The boys produced this remix after Mallorca signed "Its Just Noise"  from the lads which is due out on MLXL early 2011.. 

Diablik and Oyaebu bring Dortmund 95 right down to its dirty basics with pounding bass kicks and dark melodies. This is nasty !!!

Mallorca offers up his blend of genre crossing Tech trance thats tough but NOT over the top with the bpm's ! A massive bass line drives Yalday with clever fills and cuts keeping the track franticly building until the track drops into a break down that will have Vangelis checking his back catalogue ! Then the track burst back into full throttle with the baseline pulling more face's than a grunning rave monkey !
