We've had requests for a recording of this version for years at shows, and finally got one worthy of the live energy it creates.  This "Hunter / Paid Dues / Organ Grinder" mashup began as a Buddy Peace & Dan Le Sac live arrangement, got reworked by the new live band and fitted w/ a hellfire outtro, and finally resulted in this recording, performed in front of Boston hardcoah crowd, no less!

Audio is from B. DOLAN's sold out show at the Middle East last November with CIRCLE TAKES THE SQUARE.  The musicians featured here are ADAM SCHNEIDER on guitar, DAN THE GERMAN on backing tracks & Voyager, and BRAD CAETANO on drums.  

B. DOLAN will be touring throughout 2014 in support of HOUSE OF BEES VOL. 3 (due out this summer) and an official LP slated for release in the fall.  All of this begins TOMORROW NIGHT in DENVER, followed by shows in ALBUQUERQUE, DENTON TX and a March 14th Showcase at SXSW alongside Sage Francis, Wheelchair Sports Camp and more. In 1999 B. Dolan moved from Rhode Island to NYC to pursue his passion. He had been writing and rapping for years, but Brooklyn’s Nuyorican Poets Cafe introduced him to spoken word which is when his career as a stage performer began. Finding himself on hard times he slept on park benches and subway trains before scoring a job as a doorman at a building that happened to be in close proximity to the Twin Towers. Just as he began piecing his life together the 9/11 attacks happened, leaving him in a paranoid mental state which ultimately resulted in his self-imposed exile from the birthplace of hiphop.

The move back to RI in 2002 proved to be a wise one for Dolan. Over the next few years he tapped into the local arts community, volunteered for at-risk youth programs, created the consumer activist website Knowmore.org, teamed up with Sage Francis, signed to Strange Famous Records and toured relentlessly.

In 2008 he released "The Failure" LP as well as the "Live Evel" vinyl EP.
In 2009 he released "The House of Bees, Vol 1" mixtape.
in 2010 he released the "Fallen House, Sunken City" LP.

After a decade of sharing stages and crafting collaborations in the studio, real-life rap BFFs SAGE FRANCIS and B. DOLAN have finally caved to years of fan pressure to form an official group: EPIC BEARD MEN. The super-duo embraced the absurd name as a reminder to themselves that, while they tackle a lot of difficult subject matter in their solo work, this group’s mission boils down to one thing: “This is supposed to be fun, for fuck’s sake.”

The “SEASON 1” EP is stacked with a signature blend of dusty breaks and absurdist lyrics, infectious grooves and slapping snares, plus the effortless rapport of two of indie rap’s best passing the baton back and forth with the only other emcee capable of running this rap race at such a breakneck pace. EBM’s full-length debut album is slated to drop in October. In the interim, fans can expect videos, remixes, social media meltdowns, and lots...’o...touring.
