Raise a Little Hell

“The Contract (World on a Stage)” is a song about power, control, and rebellion. Life is framed as theater: the curtain opens, but only those who sign hidden agreements can stand under the spotlight. The contract represents conformity, compromise, and control, enforced by unseen hands in the wings. The song warns that breaking the oath brings erasure — but its final act is defiance: tearing the paper, breaking the cage, and reclaiming freedom.
Musically, it draws from Appalachian folk grit, Southern rock edge, and jam-band fire, delivering the feel of a roots protest anthem with theatrical drama.
