Ekarow emerged from a need to create connection and share music as medicine during the desolate times of the pandemic, when all that was left of Shambhala’s legendary bass culture and the Kootenay underground scene was silence. Out of that stillness, something powerful began to rise.

Over the years, Ekarow helped breathe life back into the Kootenay music scene, throwing forest raves, co-founding a DJ collective, and curating festivals that pulsed with the wild, communal energy of the West Coast.

Now based in Montréal, he carries that same fire eastward, channeling it into his evolving vision of Medicine Dubstep, a powerful fusion of heavy bass and high vibration. Equal parts sound alchemist and community builder, Ekarow crafts sets designed to move bodies, open hearts, and remind us that even the heaviest drops can heal.
