Suzanne Miller Corso approached me to compose original music for her Dance company at James Madison University, but wanted something similar to the Enya style.  This was difficult for me as I am not an ambient minimalist like Enya.  This was the best knockoff I could produce.  Unfortunately, I completed the work too late for it to be choreographed.  So now it is standalone music.

Sean Fenlon Hiatus IV

Composed specifically for the first dance in the wedding of SPF to TLIF on June 17 1995.  Quirky 5/4 bridge/solo section, but slow enough for many to not notice the odd numerator.

SPF The Wedding Song aka "In The Beginning"

My interpretation of the fascinating melody by Eddie Harris.  Composed for Stuart Hart and Inner Circle (Stuart never took the bait).  Highly influenced by what I heard Tom Hirshmann do with the same tune, especially the "inside out" bass line groove.  MIDI glitch at the end sounded cool so I kept it in. :-)

SPF Freedom Jazz Dance Arrangement

Growing up in a largely-Irish family, this song was sung many times over pitchers of beer and teary eyes at family events.  I remember hearing the Band-in-a-Box version of this and was inspired to record my own version.  Arranged for solo Piano, but I couldn't resist a few string fills.
