For Black History Month i decide to focus & showcase one of 2 my favourite things, Soundsytems & selectors.

For this 1st series Ive showcased some true legends in the game. Tony Matterhorn, Fire Links, Pink Panther & Gappy Crucial from Sir Coxsone. This 4 parter is a true history lesson. I thought i knew so much, but also learnt so much. Combined is over 100years of soundsytem stories from some legends in the game.

The series is called DANCEHALL DINOSAUR SELECTORS. Many have asked me if i think the phrase is disrespectful. The phrase i believed was actually created by Matterhorn himself. So NO its of no disrespect. Infact its in admiration of what they have contributed. Dinasours ruled the earth, jus like these gatekeepers of Reggae & Dancehall. Even though Dinosaurs are extinct now, these men are not & still govern dance halls to this day.
