The box set contains a whole extra LP of material not released on this format as well as a fold out A3 poster, 32 page booklet and download card. A 3xCD version is also available containing a whole CD of extra material.

Darren Hayman releases a special four-track EP for Record Store Day (Saturday April 20th) entitled Four Queens, available on limited edition coloured vinyl 10" and digital. The EP follows on from his critically acclaimed album, The Violence, released on Fortuna POP! last year, which has spawned an ongoing fascination with English history.

Comprised of one track from The Violence, the outstanding ‘Henrietta Maria', plus three new compositions, the EP features (as the name suggests) songs about a quartet of English Queens. Sung from the perspective of King Charles I as he serenades his French Queen, 'Henrietta Maria' is beautiful and touching, and somehow Hayman manages to indulge in a brief history lesson without ever compromising his lyrical meter or the song’s integrity.

In recognition of Record Store Day 2013, Ty Segall has teamed up with Goner Records to release a sequel to the OOP Ty Rex EP, the Ty Rex 2 7". If you missed Goner's initial release back in 2011, fret not. This 45 presents two classic tracks pulled from either half of Bolan's prolific career with the T. Rex project Cat Black (Wizard Hat), one of the last freak folk productions from T. Rex before Bolan ditched the hobbit, Steve Peregrine Took, on the gong, and The Motivator, from the seminal Electric Warrior album. Each are interpreted in an intriguingly reserved, yet unflaggingly explosive style by San Francisco's favorite son.

Following last year's hugely successful album No One Can Ever Know: The Remixes, The Twilight Sad have teamed up with fellow Scots Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat for a split single which sees the jazz pianist and former Arab Strap frontman produce a low key, piano led reading of Alphabet, the opening track from No One Can Ever Know.

On the other side, The Twilight Sad have re-imagined ‘(If You) Keep Me In Your Heart’ from Bill Wells & Aidan Moffat’s brilliant album Everything’s Getting Older.
