Quest-i-on is a lyricist and flocalist, which combined creates floetry. His sound is an experimentation of blending conscious Hip-Hop, invocations and spoken word over heart-opening lofi, downtempo, trip-hop and bass music beats. Quest’s intention is to inspire introspection and healing; to question both our internal and our external reality so that we become conscious, free thinking, empowered individuals.

Raised in the Mojave Desert of CA, Quest-i-on first started writing poetry at only 11 years old, which would go on to be his greatest form of self-therapy and self-expression. He was originally inspired by watching “Def Poetry” on TV; the way the performers blended rhythm, story-telling, cadence, and emotion affected him greatly. Years later, he would discover artists such as “Slug” of “Atmosphere”, “Aesop Rock”, “Sage Francis”, “Cambatta” and many others that would influence him for years to come.

Quest-i-on has travelled the US, performing shows, from conferences to festivals under the Duo project, “Truniversal”. The duo of “Truniversal” is currently working on a new project titled “Free Willow”.
