This song was written whilst scrambling around trying to work out what I was going to do for Aprils release. The 2 songs that were originally lines up for April and may still arent finished, so I needed something fresh for April, and this is what I ended up with.

Over a 2 week period, the song went from just a good solid driving bassline that I was trying to add some piano riffs to and had a basic chord structure going on which was ok, but it just wasnt going anywhere. So, the best solution was to take the song back to that single key driving bassline and start again. After some more playing around, I decided to grab the pen and pad and jot some lyrics down. Attempt 1 got binned, as did attempt 2, but by attemp 3, I knew where I was going with the lyrics, and DJ turn it was born. Once I had the lyrics, I went about changing everything to suit.

I then had to find a vocalist. I didnt have to search for long before i found Ro online and got chatting. I sent her a video of me singing the song, and what she sent me back absolutely blew my mind! Ro recorded the vocal lines in her studio in Argentina, and a couple of weeks later, the song was complete. I sat for 8 hours straight writing and practicing the piano part for this song because I wanted it to be just as good as the vocal. It definitely made me up my playing game as that was no easy piano part to write and play.

I hope you enjoy this track as much as I do. Its my favourite song so far, and I hope it gets shared far and wide for people to enjoy. Its a happy upbeat song with such a summery vibe to it.
