Café Seven, the new album from System 7’s Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy mixes 5 tracks from their chill-out project Mirror System with 5 more up tempo System 7 tunes, and features a System 7 collaboration with Marcus Henriksson (Minilogue / Son Kite) on ‘Million Suns' and a Mirror System collaboration with Ajja on ‘Smooth Operator’.  The album also features some high profile remixes by Steve and Miquette including Sudo’s 'Sensation (System 7 remix)’  and Joujouka’s ‘And Justice Killed  (System 7 remix)’ and a Mirror System remix of Six Degrees Records artists The Delia Derbyshire Appreciation Society on ‘Cloudface’.

X-Port - the latest album release of System 7 - presenting a unique combination of techno and trance beats and live musicianship. On October 16th 2015 A-Wave Records simultaneously released the full power System 7 X-Port album and the more chilled Mirror System album titled N-Port. This ambitious release plan celebrates the 21 year anniversary of System 7’s seminal Fire and Water dual albums, and presents the full range of Hillage and Giraudy’s work in the field of electronica.

SYSTEM 7's previous release - the Passion EP - really hits the spot, showing that in 2013 they remain on top of their game with their unique blend of trance and techno.

The most recent full System 7 album UP (released May 2011) tips the balance a bit in a more techno and tech house direction, still showcasing the unique System 7 sound with ultra modern production and a feeling of positivity. The album was inspired by time spent in Berlin. The club single, taken from UP, is PositiveNoise, a collaboration with Berlin-based A Guy Called Gerald, and features a new deep techno remix from Carl Craig and a powerful remix from Japanese techno star A.Mochi. PositiveNoise also has great new Japanese animation video clip

SYSTEM 7’s Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy have had a strong influence on the birth of psychedelic dance music and it’s journey up to the present, forging a unique and bang up-to-date identity on the genre map, in a space where techno, progressive and trance meet – with a healthy side-element of unique quality ambient chill which is connected and reflected in their sister project Mirror System. 

Since the beginning of the 90s System 7 projects have been marked by a series of high powered collaborations, working with Detroit luminaries Derrick May and Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, The Orb, Jam El Mar, Son Kite among others. System 7’s club singles have had outstanding remixes from the likes of Plastikman, James Holden and Dubfire, whose mix of Space Bird was number one on Beatport’s main chart for 2 weeks in 2008.

Vlastur started his journey into music as a Bass player. Back in the mid-80's, he was a founding member of the Cohash Funk, an underground funky Athenian group. In 1998 alongside Frequency Freak, fellow Cohash funk guitarist and Spiris, a dubby drummer, formed "Apeuthias Syndesi" now known as Direct Connection, a dub experimental laboratory. They released "Dub Infection" in 2007. Even though he started as a Bassist in Direct Connection, he was the main FX Sound Engineer of the band.

In the meanwhile he was also working as a session musician with various artists and bands. In 2004 he teamed up with Palyrria an ethnic-electronica band and in 2005 recorded "Methexy" with them and has played in many of their gigs.

The (InterAxion Dub-2009 Eqnation recs) project was the first fully length work of Vlastur. Influenced by all his beloved sounds from Dub to Dubstep through Psy, Ambient, Drum n' Bass and Traditional Mediterranean sounds !

In early 2015 Parvati recs released the EP "Parvati In Dub by Vlastur".It's about a RMX project by him in Dub with some of very well known tunes of Parvati label artists flavored by Vlastur's sound!!(second part is on the way).

He participated like bass player in the super band "Novelty Engine" with the artists Ajja,Cedric "Congo" Myton ,R.ZEE Jackson ,Steve Hillage (System 7),Miquette Giraudy (System 7) ,Dick Trevor, Ott and Dymons on August of 2015-2016 at OZORA Festival in Hungary.

Exept those artists Vlastur has co-operated with artists such Ace Ventura,Gaudi,Bombay Dub Orchestra,Irina Mikhailova,Etnica,Tengri,Jef Stott and others.

Vlastur performs live by his self or with his band.

I grew up hearing a lot of C&W due to my parents. And the usual Sinatra, and Dean Martin. Loved Dean Martin, and one of his heros, Louis Prima. When I was a toddler to young kid age, there was still a lot of authentic R&B style soul, funk, rocksteady, plus the usual UK R&B based stuff: Kinks, Faces.
ELO, and stuff, 
By thew time I hit my teen I got into making sure I had a cassette recorder ready for the John Peel show omn radio 1, and his World service one too. WOW! What an education THAT was.

b. Khaled Hadj Brahim, 29 February 1960, Sidi-El-Houari, Oran, Algeria. Singing and playing accordion from an early age, Khaled dropped out of school to pursue a musical career in spite of the disapproval of his father (a policeman). From 1976 he released a series of singles that revolutionized Algerian rai music by introducing drum machines, synthesizers and lyrics celebrating alcohol, sex and partying (some of these early releases are collected on the 1996 release Young Khaled). Khaled was also a popular local live attraction, performing at weddings and circumcisions as well as nightclubs. His highly charged and physical onstage persona had much the same effect on Algeria’s youth as Elvis Presley’s live shows had on teenage Americans in the 50s. By the early 80s Cheb Khaled (Cheb, meaning ‘young’, was the name given to Khaled and the singers who followed him in order to differentiate him from older, more traditional performers) was banned from Algerian television and radio. However, a performance at Algeria’s first National Rai Festival took the country by storm, leading to a lifting of the ban. He moved to France in 1986, soon becoming a star among the large immigrant North African population. Hada Raykoum, released in 1987, had originally appeared in Algeria two years earlier and was the first rai album to be released internationally. Kutche was Khaled’s first European recording. Produced in collaboration with Safy Boutella, it introduced a more sophisticated sound, incorporating elements of funk, jazz and reggae. Dropping the ‘Cheb’ from his name, the singer released Khaled in 1992. Co-produced by Don Was and Michael Brook, the album’s rai/rock/electro funk fusion was best exemplified by the single ‘Didi’, a huge hit in many countries throughout the world (including India where a Hindi version was released). By now unable to return to Algeria, where the growing Islamic Fundamentalist movement attacked him for his outspokenly hedonistic stance, Khaled released N’ssi N’ssi in 1993. Again featuring some songs produced by Don Was, this time co-producer Philippe Eidel added sweeping middle Eastern strings to the other tracks. Sahra, released in 1996, embraced an even wider range of influences. Some of the tracks were recorded in Jamaica with producer Clive Hunt and local musicians such as Dean Fraser and the I-Threes. Eidel and Was both contributed tracks, while the French-language ballad ‘Aicha’ was produced by Jean-Jacques Goldman and became a huge hit throughout mainland Europe and beyond. In 1997, Khaled toured extensively to promote Sahra. The follow-up Hafla (meaning ‘party’) was recorded at concerts in Belgium and France during this tour, backed by a slick, multicultural band and, on some songs, accompanied by enthusiastic mass singing from the audience. The double live 1, 2, 3 Soleils was recorded at the POPB in Paris, France and produced by Steve Hillage. It featured Khaled alongside fellow Paris-based Algerian stars Rachid Taha and Faudel performing their best known songs with backing from a large band, including string sections from France and Egypt. The studio album Kenza was produced by UK guitarist Steve Hillage and Lati Kronlund of New York collective Brooklyn Funk Essential. In 2004, Khaled made his debut for the Wrasse Records label with the ‘back to the roots’ album Ya-Rayi.

Zenlike Creature was initially set up as a side-project, born out of a love of the psychedelic music scene.

It could be said that this project is almost 30 years in the making since that wonderful summer of 93 and that first listen of the Ozric Tentacles 'Live Underslunky' album - it certainly opened more than just eyes! 

Since then it's been a continual music adventure hunting down bands and artists of similar style and genre. Whilst not always fruitful, there is a selection of bands/artists who have helped shape and influence Zenlike Creature and this work would not have happened without them: Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Shpongle, Steve Hillage, Eat Static, Hallucinogen, Pink Floyd, and Hawkwind. 

The bands/artists above have taken us on some fantastic musical journeys and adventures and Zenlike Creature hopes to take you on some similar journeys too.
