The album is the 1st to be co-written and co-produced by the duo and it just works. The production shines through the richness of textures and infectious groove, making it multi-dimensional listening experience. Lyrically, it’s about love, empowerment, confidence, fun,
aspirations, and of course, a little drama. There’s emotional range, wit, sarcasm, beauty and most importantly, truth to be found.

IN DETAIL
It talks about
falling in and out of love with other people, but also, most importantly with yourself. Be it that “Electric” feeling you get when you fall for someone, the emotional depth and intensity of connection that comes through in “Dancing (Like Nobody’s Watching) or that empowering feeling and amazing confidence that comes from being comfortable with and loving yourself in songs like “Big Girl” or being
able to recognize and appreciate something or someone’s value before
it’s gone like in “Rosy Cheeks” and the in
evitable “We’re Done” when we fail to recognize that.
It’s about life goals, ranging from modern society’s fascination with the materialistic, like in “Private Airplane” which hints at the allure of that glamorous, celebrity lifestyle, to the embrace of simplicity and
mindfulness, such as being able to appreciate the sun’s warmth on your
face, like in “Laid-back Living”.

Zwei Tage vor Moonlight Breakfast`s allererstem Konzert (als Support von Jamiroquai vor 35.000 Menschen), fiel ihnen auf dass sie dringend ein Intro für die Show bräuchten. Christie, die Sängerin mit der markanten, aussergewöhnlichen Stimme, die erstmal überredet werden musste zu singen, schrieb dazu ein paar Zeilen und daraus entstand auf die letzte Minute ‚Hello’

Dank ihrer mitreißenden Bühnenpräsenz überstanden Moonlight Breakfast ihre Feuertaufe mit Bravour und begeistern seitdem spielerisch leicht auf ihren weltweiten Konzerten. I'm so high i could reach the moon! So fühlt sich Sängerin Christie wenn sie bei der Lead Single ‚Shout’ loslegt, ein Song über den magischen Moment wenn man als Musiker auf der Bühne die ganze Energie des Publikums spürt. Kein Wunder dass die Fahrerin im aktuellen Ford Fiesta Spot dazu ganz leichtfüßig über die Straße fliegt…

Der urbane, roughe Stilmix  aus Soul, Electro, Beat, Retro und Swing, das ist der Sound von Moonlight Breakfast. Kennengelernt haben sie sich in Bukarest. Christie und Bazooka, Drummer und Multiinstrumentalist, der Klarinette am Konservatorium Bukarest studierte. Inzwischen sind sie verheiratet und das gemeinsame Kind streunt gern auch mal neugierig über die große Bühne. Dazu kamen Adita, Keyboarder und Gitarrist, Schauspieler und begnadeter Reiter und Printzu, der sein Theologie Studium an den Nagel hängte um Bass zu spielen.
