Following two standout releases this autumn, “blackout blackout” and “magnetic magnetic”, all things break returns to selected. with “gravity” — an emotional, driving cut that deepens the project’s distinct sonic identity.

Built on a pulsing low end and a clouded sense of melancholy, “gravity” captures the tension between weight and motion — made for night drives, headphones, and everything in between. The track follows the breakout success of “blackout blackout”, which reached Spotify’s Daily Viral 50 and cracked the iTunes Dance Top 10 in multiple countries.

With each release, all things break continues to push into stripped-back, mood-driven dance music — intimate, evocative, and entirely its own.

This set is one of several live sets in a series that will slowly and lovingly, like our musical vibration, open up to the world, bit by bit, piece by piece.

As musical and deep-soul brethren, Captures and Sādana have been harnessing their crafts for years, letting the winds blow their spirits from land to land, shining bright, even in the darkest of places. Their paths crossed in Berlin, the crux of electronic music and led them to collaborate and co-create on a crucial body of work, just when the World needed it most. This series, coming to be known as K I N S H I P, explores the depths of our hearts and the strength and courage in our patience, in friendship, in service; together. It is primarily improvised, with an undercurrent of produced work performed and launched live by Captures then layered and performed over by Sādana. 

So let the vibe simmer and crisp on both sides. Let the full flavor marinate and settle in, allowing it to reach it's full potential. Welcome the imperfections and let the authenticity and purity of the performance shine through. And just remember, you are love.

This track came alive through a moment of exploring west-african desert blues guitar combined with producing an abstract, pulsing world beat while pondering life in the garden of my home in Berlin. Months later, while traveling through the sacred valley of Peru on a journey with cactus medicine, my brother Dawid passed me samples of a recording of the Mwami tribe (meaning King Shepherd) and royal drums from Rwanda whose cultural music and identity has disappeared since the republic was formed in 1961. These samples I have mixed with my production and guitar playing to give it an otherworldly feel. I believe in the idea of carrying cultural heritage through the medium of sound and production thus giving new life to ancient tradition and merging the old with a new artistic vision.

This track incorporates the Moroccan Gimbri, a 3-stringed hollow-bodied instrument from the Gnawa tribe that resonates and develops into trance-like patterns when played. Matching the gimbri patterns are arpeggiated synth lines that run throughout the piece, accompanied by a 3/4 deep house vibe.
