Indoor Position Tracking System refers to the localization of individuals and objects within buildings. This indoor localization is thus a technical challenge as GPS does not work reliably within indoor locations.

Imbroglio is the name of the DJ-Project by Andreas (Salzburg, Austria), which focuses on the landscape of rolling, swampy, psychedelic but also drifty, technoid sounds. Since he got in touch with psychedelic music he became instantly hooked to the underground scene and its variety of different styles, genres and sub-genres. He is part of the Sonus Sonorum Crew based in Salzburg (Austria), which is organizing indoor Psytrance- Parties regularly. Since 2018, he has played in local indoor locations in Salzburg like the Rockhouse Bar, Mark or Sakog and also at smaller outdoor
gigs. Meanwhile he also became part of Squamata Records and Mouju Records. His intention as a DJ is to create a mesmeric atmosphere with his sets. A swampy, misty playground, where everybody is able to experience their own little adventures inside their heads and bodies. Imbroglio plays a mixture of groovy nightpsy/twilight and swampy forest sometimes merging into synthetic darkpsy. Also he plays deep hypnotic techno with zenonesque influences. While playing in front of a crowd, his aim is to achieve a symbiotic process between the dancer and the performer.

Danceable beats, modern vocals and a snappy bassline, spherical vocals and acid-tinged percussions - with the opener, Modern Rhapsody, Alex sets the tone that makes the dance floor glow. The first drop confirms what is actually clear from the first bars - Modern Rhapsody is a dancefloor filler and prepares us perfectly for the dawning club season. The bass is snappy and massages our eardrums, but at the same time rolls let fair. Relaxed synthesizers meet loose percussion. Again, the vocal that brings that emotional uplift along with the treble. Unagitated and at the same time with a considerable tension momentum. Neon , Successful! We let ourselves drift. Just like that. 
This part starts right away with a fire vocal - the bassline carries and doesn't need much. The percussions distorted with a loose reverb vibe, Red Storm grooves along stably. This track also makes you hungry for the dark dancefloors and bassy systems of our beloved indoor locations.
Digital Lavender, A small-fine melody on the keys, soft-knocking bass and a dreamy-feminine voice that brings us nostalgic vibes. 
Digital Lavender also comes across as classic "electronic dance music" - in the best sense!

Alex alias Sidamo Soundsystem steigt mit uns ein vorletztes Mal in diesem turbulenten Kalenderjahr ins Karussell.
Seit mehr als 15 Jahren an den Decks, hat er im Laufe der Zeit zahlreiche Raves am See (anfangs als Freischwimmer-Beatpicknick), unter Brücken und in Indoor-Locations in Freising organisiert. Für fast 8 Jahre gab es sogar einen inoffiziellen Club namens Schloss Silberpfeil. In Freising ist er durch diese gesamte Zeit als Alex Silbermann bekannt.

Da in Freising offiziell nicht viel geboten wird, haben sich hier verschiedene Crews aus unterschiedlichen Generationen gebildet, die schon immer Privatpartys veranstalten. Vor knapp 2 Jahren entstand die OMG, Freibeats & Friends. Neben einigen Indoor-Partys wie der Entendisko haben sie ihr erstes kleines Festival mit 3 Floors und knapp 250 Gästen veranstaltet – das "Jetzt und Hier" Festival.

Musikalisch bewegte sich Alex lange zwischen den Genres Techno und House. Durch seine Reisen und Erfahrungen haben sich jedoch seit knapp 5 Jahren neue Türen im Tribal und Downtempo Bereich, geöffnet. Er liebt auch Ecstatic Dance und die Tatsache, nüchtern und tagsüber zu feiern und zu tanzen. Das werden auch zunehmend die Events sein, bei denen er in Zukunft öfter spielen wird.

Seine Sets sind (fast immer) progressiv aufgebaut, und er liebt es, langsamen, deepen und groovigen Ethno Sound mit Techno und Techhouse zu verbinden. Alex hat bereits in Australien, Neuseeland und Indien viel auf Festivals gearbeitet und aufgelegt.

Ein besonderes Projekt ist das Sidamo Soundsystem. Vor ein paar Jahren haben Alex und sein Freund Michi ein kleines, aber sehr feines Soundsystem gebaut (mittlerweile wächst der Bestand :D) und eine Jurte gekauft. Damit möchten sie die Festivalszene in Deutschland bereichern. Dabei wird er auch von seiner lieben Freundin Lilly (Lily Aylanda) unterstützt, die sich um die grafische Gestaltung von Logos, Covers, Flyern usw. kümmert.

EMP Night is a twice monthly event showcasing the diversity of Electronic Musicians in Austin, Texas. 

The original North EMP NIght event is hosted by Batch Craft Beer and Kolaches on the last Tuesday of every month from 7pm - 10pm or so. Right now we are able to schedule 6 performers per night, on two stages; one indoor, one outdoor. Great Kolaches, designer beers, and a really cool place to hang out!

The new EMP "South" show occurs once a month, always on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and runs from about 7pm-11pm, We'll be booking 4-5 acts per evening in general. Our host is Captain Quackenbush's located in south Austin on Menchaca Road. Great food and drink and a great sound system and space.  

We also strive to have video artists providing the background images for the performers whenever possible. Come by if you are in town and have time to attend either or both show locations; witness first-hand the fantastic performers we have in line for you!
