Written in March 2021, this song is about recognizing that sometimes the best of times are unplanned. The good and the bad hits you any time, so when times are good, appreciate it.

This song was written on piano but with more emphasis on guitar that other songs of mine. Recorded on a Fender Jaguar, Fender Jazz Bass, Yamaha Motif6, and Baldwin grand piano.

the government's marching we're all on the run they shoot Johnny down for the laws we had won they come with their tanks and they come with their guns we're all gonna follow until we succumb    we all started talking while gathering around let's take back our streets our cities and towns walk with our heads and our flag held up high scream out for justice in the name of we'll die     in the land of milk and honey in the land of milk and honey in the land of love   

we demostrated out in the streets we demanded the right to be unchained and freed we demanded these things through our stance and our votes no longer will we let you fools rock the boat cause we won't be safe here in another five years we'll all gonna be shedding out billions of tears it's terrible to think but there's truth in the fear we'll all gonna drown and it's alarmingly clear

the government marching we're all on the run they're making new laws confiscating our guns they're taking away all of our basic rights like living with freedom and peace in the night  the land of milk and honey in the land of milk and honey in the land of love

I'm 57 and so is my wife. My time is up, about getting a child. Destiny wanted it so but I'm sure I will find a young woman to adopt as a daughter on my way. Many things I have imagined have happened in my life ... I don't want a cane for my old age. I hate asking for help but I would like someone to help.
