What began as an intimate Sunday daytime party, along the back-streets of Birmingham, has fast become one of the UK's most exciting clubbing brands. Renowned for its no-worries, no-attitude atmosphere over the last 2 years GLAS has pushed the boundaries of what considered the norm, establishing itself as one of the most unique and forward thinking brands in the Industry! Insane themes, venue transformations, pyrotechnics, light shows, entertainers, world-renowned DJ talent and stand-out promotional techniques have made up events ranging in size from 500 capacity shindigs to 3000+ gala events, road closures, a monthly residency at Amnesia (Ibiza) and a full season at Es Paradis!

During 2011 the brand steps forward again with a refreshed look, feel and concept. Headline DJs and Artists will be making more regular appearances, pushing the music policy forward in a wide range of genres. The Birmingham parties continue as the premier event and experience in the Midlands now joined by our Monthly event in Leeds. Hosting the first Saturday of the Month at club Mission, our first party of the year saw over 900 people in attendance! The Support and planning for the year ahead will undoubtedly produce some of the most talked about, anticipated and celebrated parties and memories! 

It all started for 'Deep Glitch' in the year 2006, when two Wolverhampton based brothers, both with a sheer love for music and the clubbing scene finally felt the need to fullfil their joint dream of both becoming dj's. At the ages of 17 and 20, Alex Hughes & James Hughes got their first ever set up consisting of two cd'j 800's along with a DJM 600. Both already having an utter fixation with house music, endless hours were spent shrouded away in their bedroom trying to perfect the art of dj'ing. 

As time went on, both brothers experimented with a diverse genre of music, including classics, speed garage, uk garage and anything and everything else in between. With many of these styles suiting the the underground scene of Birmingham, they both earned themselves sets individually at the likes of GLAS, IF at Bushwackers, FACE, SARF, WWJD, B1, Sunday Club, Dolce Vita along with many more of the 2nd biggest city in the countries most prominent events. 

It wasn't until a few years after they had both began to dj, that the brothers really started to establish a true passion towards a genre of music like never before. Deep house, tech house and techno started enticing and appealing to them both, and after a 'memorable' trip to the White Isle in 2010, they decided to start taking things more seriously and began playing together under their new alias, 'Deep Glitch'. 

Today, they have secured themselves residencies at KALUKI, one of Sankeys (Manchester) most popular Saturday night events and two of Birminghams most infamous events 2:31 (Official FACE after party) and GLAS, whilst picking up many other sets along the way. Playing alongside some of Birminghams finest dj's, as well as being on the same lineup as the likes of HEIDI, SOLOMUN, RICHY AHMED, MIGUEL CAMPBELL, TALE OF US, CLOCKWORK, DYED SOUNDOROM & SHONKY. Their predominantly techno and tech sound has been doing damage on the dance floors of Birmingham, giving them much recognition by the clubber's of todays underground house scene.
