Originally from Maastricht, Foöl embarked on a new sonic journey nine months ago, transitioning to a focus on vinyl with an unquenchable thirst for discovery. Since then, his
collection has grown into a diverse array of sounds, with each record carefully selected to push the boundaries of his sets. A music lover at heart, Foöl is always in pursuit of the unexpected, seeking out records that offer a fresh twist on the familiar.

Foöl has deeply woven himself into the fabric of Amsterdam’s techno scene, not just as a DJ but as a visionary. Co-founding Stiltecoupé and serving as its curator, he has been instrumental in shaping a community where the traditions of techno are reimagined through a lens of inclusivity and forward-thinking creativity, providing a platform for new talent and established artists to come together in a celebration of sound.

In his DJ sets, records seem to talk to each other, creating a rich tapestry of movement and rhythm. Foöl's selections, consisting mainly of tracks from the 90s and early 2000s, are a testament to his relentless search for hidden gems, always striving to surprise and move the dance floor. Trying to choose tracks that stand out but also harmonize with the others, building moments of conflict and resolution that enhance the overall narrative. The ebb and
flow of tension and release nsure that his sets are both surprising and deeply immersive experiences, where harmony emerges from the interplay of contrasting elements, keeping the audience enthralled and engaged.
