Simon Vuarambon, is a young producer born in Geneva, Switzerland who actually now lives in Argentina. The talented chap has released on Subtract and Flow amongst others, and has seen support from John Digweed, Guy J, Nick Warren and of course Hernan Cattaneo. 
This release shows Simons maturity and musical development as we kick off with the deep, hypnotic warm melodic layers of Bahia, interspersed with subtle effective percussion while the drop is dreamlike with a glowing wash of feelings. 
Pandora is next, with its understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along, while Simon manages to keep a hold on its energy, subtlety allowing the housey feel good mellow spirit too ooze out as though a liquid flowing over is soundscape. 
And to close we find Soulmates, the tougher and techier of the collection, interspersing some roomy glowing love, while some filtered stabs collide beautifully.

<p>Having released D-Nox &amp; Beckers&#8217; Distance album in May 2011, Christian Smith&#8217;s Tronic label have assembled an impressive cast of talent for this two-part remix package which will bridge the label&#8217;s release schedule as 2011 ends and 2012 begins. Bringing together names from techno, tech house and progressive, this collection of reworks not only reflects the broad music styling of the original album but also embodies the wide genre range across which Tronic has come to operate as it seamlessly blends deep, tough, melodic and percussive flavours.</p>

<p>Part Two of the remix collection ups the ante a notch or two with eye widening reworks from four of the most respected producers of 2011. Bushwacka! leads off the charge, fresh from his headline grabbing work for Plus 8 and Intec, to give &#8216;You Are&#8217; a shuffling, deep bass twist. Santos delivers a tense and energetic rework of &#8216;Follow Me&#8217;, bristling with percussive sexiness and exotic chants. Bedrock&#8217;s Guy J works up his magic with a deep and dream like version of &#8216;I Will Rise&#8217;. While Uto Karem shows exactly why he has been one of the most hyped names of the year with his remix of &#8216;What I Have&#8217;. There is also space for a re-issue of Christian Smith&#8217;s remix of &#8216;My Voice&#8217; as well as an alternative dub version of Dustin Zahn&#8217;s remix of &#8216;Sunner&#8217;.</p>

'Cid Inc's Replug Records opens the 2019 summer season by welcoming Alex O'Rion to the label for his debut EP. As one of the Netherlands most highly regarded and sought after artists, the Nijkerk resident has found a home on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, where he has released three artist EPs since making his debut in January of 2018. Also a highly regarded DJ, Alex has programmed music for some of the world's most iconic clubs, namely Ministry Of Sound and Fabric. Now fresh off a Spring release for Nick Warren's Hope Recordings, the Dutch artist lands on Replug for his debut EP entitled 'Marathon'. 

Continuing what has been a remarkable year for Alex is the EP's opener and title selection 'Marathon'. Enticing from the start, it's perfectly sculpted beats are warm and powerful, anchoring what is a rippling, free flowing foundation. Crafted with precision and care, layers of hypnotic percussion are blanketed with swirling atmospherics, ghostly vocal edits and fragmented melodies. Intrigue peaks as the main break unfolds, with hazy harmonic concepts and granular design uniting for an exhilarating apex, before ushering in a groovy drop and emotive finale. 

The journey continues with the driving vibes of 'Blaze'. Immediately captivating, it's billowing bass tones and finely tuned percussion play off a robust rhythmic core, making for a devilish, hip swinging groove. It's hypnotic appeal grows subtly, as vocal fragments and luminous tones add an emotive slant to what is an already mystical storyboard. Almost like a sonic comet, it's fiery energy melts down into a break of muted beats and astral designs, before a collage of tripped out harmonics sets the stage for an otherworldly conclusion.

The release is capped off in fine fashion with the introspective moods of 'L'Arbre Des Contes'. Expertly joining the past to the future, Alex marries sophisticated melodic motifs with meditative rhythms and tranquil textures. It's a unique and highly engaging storyboard, perhaps one of the Dutch artist's most heartfelt to date in fact, a creation to cherish for special occasions and no doubt a highly memorable selection for your dance floor. Groovy and emotive in equal measure, it rounds out what is an astute collection of music from Alex O'Rion, making for yet another extraordinary addition to Replug's impeccable discography. '

Falling into the hands of the underground, he found house & techno as his main genres, as time passed by he developed a connection with melodies and deeper grooves, focusing his work on the progressive side of these genres.
