ABOUT:
TDP are an electronic DJ and production duo inspired by trance, deep and progressive house music. 

2022 was a fantastic year which saw them play shows supporting some of their favourite artists and inspirations such as Marsh, Braxton, Simon Doty, Spencer Brown, Richie Blacker, My Friend and Estiva, at the likes of Joshua Brooks in Manchester and the legendary Egg in London. 

2023 kicked off with them playing alongside Anjunabeats trance heavyweights Ilan Bluestone and Maor Levi, along with rising breakbeat star GVN. There are more exciting shows scheduled for later this year, including sharing the lineup at Sensusfest in Chester alongside the legendary Rui Da Silva and progressive heavyweight Cristoph and a big show TBA in December. 

Their sets are versatile, whether it’s opening up the night properly and respectfully, or delivering a more peak time offering. Their sets vary and move along the spectrum of deep and progressive house, fused with melodic techno and trance elements, with incorporation of their own productions, remixes and bootlegs too.

Hailing from Rotterdam, Netherlands-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Talee makes his debut on Reflections with his mesmerising EP ‘My Mother Was A Synthesizer’. 

Born out of a psychedelic experience, Talee first emerged on the scene in 2020 with his remix of Belgian Trance DJ Jonas Steur’s 'Fall To Pieces’, landing straight into Spotify’s New Music Friday Dance and showcasing his unique flair. Following a successful debut, Talee revealed his first AA-side projects on Berlin-based record label Disco Halal in 2022 under the mentorship of label-had Moscoman, touring the projects at 20+ live shows across the Netherlands. 

Inspired by the likes of LCD Sound System, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and James Blake, Talee’s new EP blends an array of vintage synthesizers, guitar licks and electronic beats with his voice, blurring the lines between genres to cement his own hybrid sound. The project explores the theme of family dynamics, from the intimate and distant emotions, and all the moments in between, while celebrating the strangers that become chosen family overtime.

In September 2023, Talee was awarded ‘Best Producer of Rotterdam’ by The Grand Prix of Rotterdam - an emerging talent initiative in the Netherlands. He is now set to play the main stage for Rotterdam’s Liberation Day Festival in May 2024, which is host to several thousand attendees.

Introspective, personal and soul-stirring. With his fourth artist album, Dutch chill composer Sebastian Davidson tells the story of rejoining the inner and the outer after the pandemic and the loss of his father. 

Each of the eleven tracks, from ‘Feel Good’ and ‘Elsewhere’ to ‘Who You’ and title track ‘Reconnect’, captures a significant moment in the process, outlining — and soundtracking — the journey of someone adrift trying to reach the shore. 

It is this album that beautifully details the confliction emotions and different forms of expression, indicating the subtle steps forward as well as the ebb and flow of feeling. Championing a new wave of emerging talent, Reflections presents the seventh instalment of their various artist EP series on the label.

Egyptian-born producer and environmental scientist, Nourey makes her debut on the label with a stunning neo-classical composition ’To Where Dreams Are’, which features a lullaby of mellow horns, piano and enchanting strings. Followed up by Glaswegian composer-producer Turtle, and his dreamy production ‘Falls Of Avich’ that intertwines ambient synths and gentle piano motifs.

Balearic legend Steve Miller aka Afterlife, presents the third track on the EP. Known for his iconic chill out sets in Ibiza since the early 90s, Miller has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, contributing to numerous Café Del Mar compilations as well as a sought after remixer working with the likes of Sinead O’Connor, Roger Sanchez and Lana Del Rey. Here he delivers a fine tuned atmospheric, meditative composition ‘Wide Awake’. 

Next up on the EP is a debut from Scottish producer and composer Faodail, meaning ‘a lucky find’ in Gaelic, who weaves soft percussive elements with melodic synths on his new track ‘Entangled’. Closing the project is Tokyo-based sound artist Yui Onodera with ‘IZUMO', a soothing composition of electro-acoustic elements and field recordings that create a delicate soundscape.

The ‘Unseen OAK’ is not that unseen anymore. Since arriving to the melodic deep house scene in 2016 with his debut single "Promenade" on Cr2 Records, UOAK has been receiving stellar support from artists and dance music platforms worldwide.
