Growing up in the deep south of Germany with multi ethnic friends and big interest in many different music genres of the world, Borrowed Identity built his wide knowledge in music. This variety in his musical taste is also the reason why he is working under different aliases producing a big variety of sound from ambient to house to experimental music and everything inbetween. Borrowed Identity debut EP on Quintessentials is another great example for his multistyle approach to music. You’ll find elements of house, disco, techno, ambient and more – always with an imminent love for music. Borrowed Identity released his first 12” inc. a Mark E remix on Foul&Sunk last year. That was just the start of an impressive career we dare to say. Borrowed Identity is a music freak and works very fast on tracks. Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts, Traveller Records (Finland), the Legendary Sound Research, Stripped & Chewed (Chicago), Catz N Dogz Pets Recordings and soon Mistress all released some splendid Borrowed Identity tunes. And we do the same!

This is it, the first release from our man from the dirty south! Anaxander’s talent is obvious, he has been producing different types of music and has been releasing on labels like Local Talk or Dame Music. His music if raw yet smooth and has a lot of soul and reminds us of some good old Detroit Techno and House. No exception is his “more about these so called love songs” EP for Quintessentials! Not to forget the great remix from man of the moment Borrowed Identity, another QE buddy (on and off the pitch!).

Vienna based DJ and producer Roman Rauch doesn’t like to compromise. He’s constantly pushing his musical boundaries: House, Techno, Disco, Funk. RR mixes the shit together like on his full 12” for Quintessentials! Keeping a raw edge on all 4 tracks, Roman still provides club appeal. Yes, we think he’s talented, that’s why he already released on Philpot, Endless Flight or Tenderpark. May the Haus be hoch!

With the second part of “Thank you freaks”, we slow down the BPMs. And invite some freaks from around the globe to present their essential tracks. Like quality german duo Paskal & Urban Absolutes (again on Quintessentials!), Melbourne’s finest Andy Hart (Melbourne Deepcast), the ever hot Ben Sun (with his current release on Delusions of Grandeur) and legend Toby Tobias.
