Tamango Records is an Italian imprint, with its name inspired by the legend of Tamango, the first African slave who fought for freedom.

Its fourth release is coming directly from London, produced by FUSE resident Rich NxT, and will be out on 30th of April 2018.

The Capodopere confectionery is bringing another enraptured release under it’s imprint, and it is no one else but crafter Suolo himself. This upcoming voyage starts with a very hypnotic sound construction that might seem ambient in some way, and you get to be greeted by a musician that is in no rush to show you around. With the A side, Suolo is taking his time to build up and subliminally, getting the listener on a very floaty yet rhythmic path. The sets of percussions and claps on this one are something that keep your feet on the ground. As long as the neon vision pad is around you - the adventure continues. Flipping over this record brings you to another chapter that creates the contrast of this release. We can say that the author stepped a bit out of his natural habitat and brought to our attention an alter ego of his. The 4/4 elements here are kicking in very quick after the 00:00 point. A tribal and darker than usual assembly of the drum lines is taking over with flashing industrial sounds and cords. Side B is decorated with some sort of undomesticated vocal, which adds more surrealism to the track. It is indeed a lost-in-the-juncture creation.

Noha & Alex Tea’s musical relationship is one that’s yielded great results to date, chiefly as result of their work together on the Panick EP, the inaugural release on Noha and Alex’s increasingly essential Panick Panick! label. Here, they team up with distinction once more for the label’s fourth release, the only difference being that this time they do so under their Patagonia moniker. If this one is a sign of things to come, it’s an alias that looks set to bare serious fruit over the next while.

A two tracker full of heady, intoxicating vibes, we get underway courtesy of the rushed, dubs flavours of ‘Rimane Senza’. A multilayered cut that boasts a relentless edge, it stops only for breath when its sporadic vocal flourish enters the equation. Dark and banging but with featuring just enough light at the end of the tunnel, it’s an all-round engrossing cut with a stuffy demeanour that’s hard not to appreciate.

The A side sees the duo revert to more percussion-led planes, courtesy of ‘Chi Ci Pensa’. The sort of weapon that’s sure to go down a treat with latin-inclined DJs such as Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano, this one’s already got an airing at Sunwaves courtesy of [a:rpia:r], who unleashed it to great acclaim at the renowned Romanian festival. Full of swing and smile-induced vibes, this one may well prove to be one of the biggest tracks of the summer. Expect this one to play out across European dancefloor’s over the coming months.

Premiere: A1 - PATAGONIA (Noha & Alex Tea) - Chi Ci Pensa [PP04]

The fifth release of VBX, "I Change, Just Like You" will soon arrive directly from Ferro, one of the main exponent of the Amsterdam-based collective.

The Dutch producer is recently on fire: apart from delivering "Limbic Resonance" VBX004 circa 8 month ago, produced together with Reiss as Spokenn, there were severals and insisting rumors around him to be the Unknown Artist behind a heavily-endorsed tune played this year.

Overall, his stamp on VBX record label is significant: the first two-ever issues, which played a major role in kick-starting the imprint ("Time Will Tell" and "Meeting In Another World") are from Jasper himself, confirming his creativity in studio and setting the last couple of year as the most prolific to date.

His growth as a DJ and producer goes at the same fast-peace VBX is going, with both breaking milestones one after the other in short period of times. His duo-project with his friend Reiss, which we featured not long time ago, is booming, with both set to appear in Ibiza for Carl Cox project One Night Stand at Amnesia and DC-10, respectively on 02 July 2018 and 10 August 2018.

VBX005 is a two-tracker EP. The name Endresonic - the A side of this two tracker - subtly references the Norwegian vocalist, who's haunting voice lends the percussion heavy and uplifting track a visceral quality. It's the type of track that you will be humming the day after you heard it being played out by your favourite DJ, wondering what it could be.

Dark Revelations on the flip feels almost like the Mr Hyde to Endresonic's Dr Jekyll. Countless heady modulating soundscapes, gurgling bleeps and blobs, subtle percussive elements and an eerie voice - with Ferro's signature groove as the backbone holding it all together - ensure a trippy, almost cerebral, listening experience. 'I Change, Just Like You' provides the listener with an aural glimpse into the multidimensional universe of sounds that Ferro calls home.
