Grounded podcast number 131 welcomes DJ/producer Matt Morra who is based in Berlin, Germany. 

Shaped by his passion for early 90s hip hop and 00's hard techno, his sound is a blend of heavy-hitting drums and uplifting melodies which has seen him release on labels such as Code Is Law and Otomo Trax.

He has gained his reputation as a DJ with epic closing sets in Germany and the Netherlands with a style which is versatile, yet straightforward.

@Izzi_Bizzi is the founder and labelhead of the Berlin art collective Bipølar. After finishing her audioproduction studies at SAE institute Berlin Izzi Bizzi is producing her own tracks, which are characterized by rough vocals, heavy metal and industrial sounds. Her first EP "Rebel Rose" has been released in february 2019 on her Label Bipølar. Besides gigs all over Germany, Copenhagen, Vienna and Zagreb, she had the opportunity to play at "Burning Man" and did her first America tour in 2017. Some upcoming shows in 2019 will take place in South America, Istanbul and Paris.
As a passionate Djane and activist of the Berlin techno scene, she is committed to keeping the underground alive! Izzi Bizzi oscillates in her dj sets the contrast of deep melancholic melodies, experimental distortion sounds, hypnotic Acid lines and elements of oldschool 90's techno. Always staying true to her authentic self, her music reflects the connection between the polarities - the feminine and the masculine - the brutal and the soft.

Their mutual love for the harder, faster and rougher side of techno brought them together in their hometown where the lack of musical brutality is palpable to say the least.
 
Influenced by the aggressive and colorful sounds of the previous decades, combined with a vision of creating something new, Gijensu strives to explore, develop and invent.
