D.H.U.B aka Jonathan Dubé discovered electronic music in 2013. His friend introduced him to the scene and took him to a Sasha gig. That night he understood what a life-changing moment this was, and he immediately fell in love with progressive house. By himself he started finding and discovering new DJs and producers from around the globe and as a result he started learning dj’ing in 2015 to spread his love for music.

His hypnotic mixes blend progressive, deep and organic house with sprinklings of Middle Eastern percussion and vocals to take people into different parts of the world.

This mix for OPV is built up with a heavy bass line and hyper core to make sure your feet don't stay on the floor.

Hey everybody! We are really proud and happy to share this mix at the end of a big year that was 2022!

The year has felt like many years in many ways with the rollercoaster of challenges as well as highs.
Musically we were able to travel and build and expand our Meanwhile brand, and amongst that find new inspiration for the music we love.

Our intention is always to connect with the cosmic within us to be the bridge to manifest the sound that comes through us.

With that in mind, we wanted to bring forward a deep and introspective journey for this mix that reflected and resonated with our path as both artists and music lovers.

We really wanted to do something different; our intention and feeling was to create something timeless that listeners will want to keep coming back to… a listening experience more than a pure dancefloor set.
Most of our mixes these days being label owners and producers contain a lot of the freshest music we have access to which is always exciting, but for this we wanted more of a journey over a wider span of time and to present a flow that remains deep and reflective, with timeless tunes that fit no matter when or where they were written.

Of course there is some fresh stuff there from our labels and ourselves, as well as a few edits we have made especially for this mix.

We hope you all enjoy this journey; we poured our heart and soul into it and we are honoured to share this as the last 333 mix for the year that was 2022.

Future Avenue Mixed 001 - Madloch

Solis Occasum is a Canadian DJ and aspiring producer who has been a passionate electronic music fan since he was a child.  He always had his ear glued to the radio in the nineties, recording hundreds of songs he discovered on volumes of cassettes.  Early influences were wide ranging - from Beastie Boys and Ace of Base to Phats & Small, Jamiroquai and Daft Punk.

His interest in DJing really picked up steam in 2012 as he began working in the vibrant Toronto underground scene.  Being young and reckless meant he never fully committed himself to his own music, instead choosing to absorb and appreciate the experiences that the top DJs who came to the city could provide.
Now married and with two kids, his focus has shifted.  No longer active in the club scene, his Nativis podcast is a passion project that connects him with fellow emerging DJs from around the world.  He has also undertaken the task of learning how to produce music, and now focuses mainly on his own personal growth and development.  The goals are simple – continuous learning, meaningful connection with others, the sharing of ideas, and always having an appreciation for the uncertainty of what comes next.

Sometimes we come across DJs combining talent with a livewire personality, and Ricky Ryan is among these.

His sound is distinguished by a broad variety of musical styles, from beautiful warm House, and deep Techno, to driving dance floor anthems, always guiding the listener through a spiritual soundscape by his silky smooth mixing and impeccable programming.

Ricky toured worldwide, including gigs at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, The BPM Festival in Mexico, ADE in Amsterdam, Creamfields in his hometown Buenos Aires, and an honourable residency at the spectacular Warung Beach Club in Brazil.

His success is exemplified by featuring on John Digweed's Transitions show, and on Proton Radio, setting a record of simultaneous listeners, with rave reviews from Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, and Desyn Masiello for DJ MAG.

Ricky Ryan is just as well respected for his remixes and productions while establishing Mauricio Viana's Electronic Groove Records, supported by Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, and many more.

Raised in a house with a dad who listened to Pink Floyd, Supertramp, folk music, and a mom that listened to Bee Gees, Giorgio Moroder and Donna Summer, Sebastian was able to develop love for energetic and progressive music.

Around year 2000-2001 He discovered trance and house music on some GateCrasher, D-mode cd compilations. Producers such as Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten (System F back then), Mauro Picotto, P.U.S.H where part of his beginnings.

Throughout the years he was able to learn and discover other genres such as melodic & deep house, progressive house and techno.

Nowadays his tracks go from Organic, Deep to Progressive with breaks and melodies all over the place, having the likes of Joseph Capriatti, Paul (AR) RIGOONI, Fernando Ferreyra, d-phrag, Ziger, Savvas, Federico Monachesi, K Loveski among other producers.

Sebastian has played as guest several Podcast such, Movement Live show done by @soulmatestudio-academy,  @deephousesweden , PHA, @deephousemelodic, Naturis Podcast from Canada, Amitabha Sessions, The Sound of Sirin and more!

His monthly podcast, Progressive Sounds comes out every first Sunday of the month on Soundcloud and live on @saturosounds which has had amazing artist such as Wassu, GRAZZE, Nicolas Soria, Ben Pierre, Lila Rose (UY) to name a few.
