Drumloch

Arnaud was born in Marseille at the 21st of December in 1984. As an electronic music enthusiast, he made his debut as a Dj at the Parties and Afters, in South of France and also in the famous "Spartacus Club". He learned musical production with "Ableton" by himself and began producing his own songs. He is exploring the various facets of minimal and techno music. With hard working, he found his way into a dark and dancefloor techno, and took the nickname "Drumloch". "Drum" is for the nature of his music and fits with different kinds of batteries that he uses (kicks, drums, toms, etc.), and "Loch" is an implied reference to the Lochness, the famous lake in Scotland, with the rumor that it was the refuge of a mysterious sea monster. Drumloch created his label named "Pragmatik Recordings" in 2012. It includes emerging talents of the Dark Techno scene. In the meantime, he works on composition and remixes for prestigious artists such as Tom Hades, Brian Burger, GO!DIVA, Albert Kraner, Elbodrop, Repressor, Sebastian Groth, Angy Kore, Mike Maass and Michael Kruck, to name a few ... At the beginning of 2013, he was hired by the prestigious Booking Agency of Subfractal in New York called "De-Konstrukt", which includes techno artists from all over the world such as Axel Karakasis, A.Paul, Sasha Carassi, Da Fresh, Lutzenkirchen, Gayle San, Alex Bau, Spektre, Dandi & Ugo, Spartaque, etc. He also got signed on the number one and most important german vinyl label named Nachtstrom Schallplatten on which he signed a collaboration with his friends Elbodrop, a Scottish duo, and was remixed by Tom Hades, Ant Prescott, Logotech & Patrick Dsp. Then two more vinyls were recorded on the same german label: on the first one he remixed one track of the pillars of German techno Thomas P. Heckmann, for his own album Dark Matters, alongside Alex Bau and Kramer & Niereich. The second one was on a double vinyl on which he realized a remix of Repressor (one of the two protagonists of the American duo Subfractal), alongside Knobs, Octave, Bjoern Torwellen, A-Brothers and Tex-Rex. In the same time, Drumloch also signed to other labels: i-Cntrl, Re-Konstrukt, I-Dark, Bass Assault Records, Elektrax Recording,s Mekanism Records, Heavy Snatch Records, Crunch Control, Darknet, Shout Records and Eklero Records. He remixed as well several EPs of international artists such as : Cortechs, Michael Schwarz, Mike Wall, GO!DIVA, Ovi M, Mikael Pfeiffer, Wave Form, Michael Kruck, Flex, Horn Porn, Mike Maas, etc. His first dates and gigs were abroad, in Holland, Spain and in Germany, including the legendary Berlin Club named "Tresor" and the "Off Sonar Festival" in Barcelona. Drumloch is currently preparing his first album for the label "Nachtstrom Schallplatten" and his first Live Act expected out in 2014. Liebe User/innen, ich habe mir vor dem U60 Closing Gedanken gemacht, wie ich mich bei euch für alles bedanken kann und bin auf die Idee gekommen, ein Stück U60311 in musikalischer Form zu konservieren. So, dass jeder zu jeder Zeit ein bisschen U um sich haben kann, ganz egal was mit dem Keller passiert. Es ist ein Track entstanden, der fast nur aus den Geräuschen im Keller, euren Schreien und Interviews besteht. Hab zb. die Toilettentüren knallen lassen und die Scharniere von ihnen verriegelt, gegen die Lüftung getrommelt, Jägermeisterflaschen die Treppe runter geworfen, die Barhocker „gesurft“ oder euch heimlich schreiend bei der Stammgastparty aufgenommen. Und dank der vielen Youtube Videos auf dem U60311 Channel habe ich unheimlich viele tolle Aussagen diverser Artists gefunden und eingebaut. Neben Rush, Tony Rohr, Toni Rios, Gayle San, Talla, Soffy O oder Tomcraft haben aber auch Silke, Ralf-Rainer und die Toilettenfrau ihre Verewigung in diesem Lied gefunden! Ich bin gespannt, was und wen ihr alles noch erkennt.
Er ist nicht perfekt, aber er ist U60311 - und das seid ihr! Ich hoffe sehr, dass er euch immer dann ein Stück Zuhause geben kann, wenn ihr es braucht! 

Tony Rohr hat einmal die richtigen Worte über unser U und damit den Titel des Liedes gefunden: 

„It´s magic. If you weren´t here you fucking missed it. If you were here you know what I´m talking about!“

Bio: 
DJ, Producer and Label Owner Sebastian Groth discovered early his musically interests. At basic school he already created his first „band“. In the early 90s he sympathised with the electronic music in form of Rave, Gabber and Dancemusic So quickly emerged the instrumental music. At the age of 12, he acquired his first music producer software. He learned fast, so only two years later followed the turntables and his DJ career took its course… Bookings in big named clubs like U60311 / Frankfurt aM, Butan Club / Wuppertal, Tresor / Berlin, or at techno festivals as Ruhr in Love , are only a few of the stations on his DJ-career. From the years 2000-2006 he operated a notorious party series “the castle-freaks“ as original member, presenter and resident – DJ. He brought the first world elite DJ..s to the little scene in Westerwald, Germany and celebrated relevant achievements. In September 2008 his first international Records was released and landed straightaway in the top 5 of many relevant national clubmusic-store charts. Through this release „House Legend" George Morel gets attention to him, who loved his stuff and signs him to his well known label "Groove on" and gave Sebastian a chance to Remix Morels club classicer "lets groove" 2009, he started his own Label: ReWashed LDT. Since that time it goes on and on with his productions and the label. Followed releases going out on big named labels like: Italo Business,Naked Lunch, Elektrax, Construct Rhythm, TK-Rec, Android Musiq, Amazone and many many more. He did Allready Remixes for People like:Andreas Krämmer, George Morel, Niereich, Arkus P, Hackler & Kuch, Cortechs, A-Brothers just to name a few and these Releases are played by: Dave Clark, Chris Liebing,Dj Rush, Len Faki, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Laurent Ganier, Space Djz, Monika Kruse, Gayle San, the Advent, Umek and the most other big named Techno Djs!

Welcome to the hardness level 1,000 of electronic music, welcome to the world of: Sebastian Groth. As a DJ and producer, he is an integral part of the German techno scene. As the label operator of ReWasted, one of the main addresses for hard techno worldwide, he is also one of the most influential players when it comes to the defining sound and trends of the last ten years in the field of hard techno. With a mix of uncompromising techno, his own edits and special old-school vibes, he skillfully generates his very own genre on the edge of madness by using classic hardcore and schranz elements: power techno!
It is this tendency to DJ as a true entertainer with contact to the crowd, a smile on his face and a slightly ironic attitude to his own work that characterizes Sebastian. The Westerwald (Germany) native discovered his passion for electronic music early. At the age of 14, he bought his first DJ set-up and organized his first illegal rave at the age of 16. His first own release in 2008 found its way straight to house music pioneer George Morel, who gave him the opportunity to remix his 1993 classic "Let's Groove". This first major success paved the way for a great career.
Since then, Sebastian has made himself a name as a workaholic, not only as a producer and remixer. His discography includes countless releases on some of the most important labels for hard techno and includes remixes for the who's who of the top league. So, it comes as no surprise he's received a multitude of awards for his work over the years, including the award for "Best Techno Producer".
Since his beginnings, the techno scene has changed many times, many artists have come and gone, but Sebastian has stayed, because: His heart beats 150 BPM and faster.
