If you love hard techno music, you probably remember the massive tune "Nightmare" by Sebastian Groth, Ben Dust and Markus Weigelt that took the scene by storm in 2021. The track was number one on the charts for months, reached millions of streams, was a trendsetter for the current hard techno rave style and became the most successful hard techno track in 2021, but if you thought that was the end of the story, youre wrong. Sebastian Groth, one of the original producers of "Nightmare," has released a new remix that takes the track to a whole new level of intensity. Called "Groths Power Up Mix", the remix is a harder, faster and more aggressive version of the original, with a modern hard dance twist and a pounding hard techno rhythm that gets your head pumping at over 150 BPM. Sebastian Groth is known for his innovative and boundary-pushing approach on remixes, and this one proved to be no exception. After bursting onto the scene in late 2017, Hyperloop makes his Drumcode debut with Green Velvet in toe. 

Followers of Truesoul will be clued up on the quality one can expect from Hyperloop. Last October he marked the label’s 100th with ‘In The Loop’, a superb three-tracker that signalled his arrival on the scene and highlighted a stunning year for the label. As 2018 picks up pace, Hyperloop returns with a tougher follow up for Drumcode. 

His ‘Mentalizm’ EP is a classy example of his versatility, a trio of original works, accompanied by two DJ tools. Beginning on a menacing tip, ‘In Your Mind (Reflections)’ is a low-end brew of industrial stabs, eerie melodies and subterranean vocals. ‘S-Sound’ is his collaboration with Chicago legend Green Velvet and is a percussive masterstroke of loops and drum riffs which drive the eight-minute track with all the puffing ferocity of a steam train. ‘Spring on the Battlefield’ is the perfect contrasting accompaniment, as a warm rush of strings covers a bed of intricate analogue effects and stomping kicks.

Parallx, born and raised in the dirty industrial landscapes of the Ruhr metropolis in West Germany and based in Berlin since 2010, belongs to the new rising techno generation. His EBM- , Industrial- and 90’s Techno inspired productions are despite its rough power on the dance floor, finely designed down to the smallest detail.  In 2017 Parallx released his first Records on Kobosil’s imprint R - Label Group as well as on Arts and was voted #3 Newcomer of the Year by the readers of Groove Magazine.  His versatile DJ sets, who stand out through the mix of powerful 2000s techno and EBM, as well as his excursion into Darkwave, Synth Pop and Electro, opened him the door to the legendary club Berghain and other clubs all over Europe.

Welcome to the hardness level 1,000 of electronic music, welcome to the world of: Sebastian Groth. As a DJ and producer, he is an integral part of the German techno scene. As the label operator of ReWasted, one of the main addresses for hard techno worldwide, he is also one of the most influential players when it comes to the defining sound and trends of the last ten years in the field of hard techno. With a mix of uncompromising techno, his own edits and special old-school vibes, he skillfully generates his very own genre on the edge of madness by using classic hardcore and schranz elements: power techno!
It is this tendency to DJ as a true entertainer with contact to the crowd, a smile on his face and a slightly ironic attitude to his own work that characterizes Sebastian. The Westerwald (Germany) native discovered his passion for electronic music early. At the age of 14, he bought his first DJ set-up and organized his first illegal rave at the age of 16. His first own release in 2008 found its way straight to house music pioneer George Morel, who gave him the opportunity to remix his 1993 classic "Let's Groove". This first major success paved the way for a great career.
Since then, Sebastian has made himself a name as a workaholic, not only as a producer and remixer. His discography includes countless releases on some of the most important labels for hard techno and includes remixes for the who's who of the top league. So, it comes as no surprise he's received a multitude of awards for his work over the years, including the award for "Best Techno Producer".
Since his beginnings, the techno scene has changed many times, many artists have come and gone, but Sebastian has stayed, because: His heart beats 150 BPM and faster.
