Mixmag Adria Exclusive Mix podcast series' second episode in 2022 features the prodigious Michelle Sparks, the poster girl for the Californian label Octopus Recordings.

Born and raised in Arizona, Michelle got her first pair of turntables in 2006. and started spinning in 2008., working with various promotors in Phoenix. On the creative side, she started releasing her own work in the early 2010s, her music described as atmospheric and futuristic sound, infused with deep musicality and raw, stripped down minimalism.

In 2018. her Octopus' debut EP ''Force Field'' went out, making her an essential member of the team and regular DJ at the Octopus Showcase & Warehouse parties, with many US and international appearances. Michelle's latest track, ''Yakuza'' is out now via Octopus Warehouse Series, as part of the January 2022 Warehouse Focus VA Compilation. Her remix for Marascia & Dusty Kid's ''WIWY'' is part of the ''Octopus Selects 2021'' release.

Neither Nor is one of the new breeds of Turkish Electronic Scene, coming from the south, from Mediterranean part of Turkey. Their sound reflects the warm character of warm sea but at the same time the anger and focus of motivation of making something unique.

Duo consists of Ogulcan & Ogulcan called ‘Neither Nor‘ from Antalya got great attention with their success of ‘Exit’ Single released in the beginning of 2022 on Jeton. They keep pushing their catalogue by releasing great labels like KD Raw and many great labels. They just delivered three trakker “Ahead of Time” EP on September on Jeton and reactions are great.
