This is a large portion of my 12 hour set at Stereo Montreal on September 28, 2024, my longest solo set ever. Missing are the first 2 hours, which I cut for better overall flow, as well as the last hour, which was not recorded as my recorder ran out of battery power.

To me, Stereo represents the absolute top of electronic music clubs worldwide. It is one of the few places that gives DJs the canvas to play long sets under near optimal conditions - an amazing sound system, great monitors, beautiful and subtle lighting and - last but not least - a knowledgeable, demanding and unified crowd.

Welcome to my latest show on AH.FM I’ll be covering one of the biggest labels around know for it’s driving sound, complex rhythms, and typically darker sound.  JOOF Recordings and #JoofAura led by non other than John 00 Fleming are one of my favorite labels I collect music from.  The quality and style of music from this label has always been appealing to me due to my original true love being Trance music.  You’ll notice the intoxicating and driving grooves taking hold of you in this mix. This mix starts off with Progressive House moving in into the  sounds of Trance.  The direction of the mix leaves me room to make another one later in the year.

This night was quite mellow with scattered clouds and a medium wind.  Not as hot as previous weeks.  I bought loads of new music the night before so most of  this was all fresh to me.  I really enjoy playing new music, even if they may have been released a few months ago or maybe more.  Had quite a few compliments as people were leaving which always makes it worth the effort.  The hours of preparation that goes into play long 5 hour set always pays off once you are in front of an audience.  Foot tapping, little babies grooving and dancing makes it such an amazing vibe to see and perform for.
