I’m excited to share Reflections, a collection of six piano (+ three variations) pieces that I originally composed for an upcoming film, set to be released next spring. These pieces are personal and flowing, each one capturing moments of introspection and emotion that emerged through the scoring process.

On a few tracks, I had the pleasure of collaborating with cellist Eurico Ferreira Mathias, whose playing adds a beautiful, soulful depth to the music. His cello brings an extra layer of feeling that really complements the piano and enhances the mood.

Reflections is a quiet, heartfelt project that I hope will give listeners a space to pause and reflect. In these fast-paced and challenging times, I hope this album offers a moment of calm that we all deeply need. Thank you for listening.

Hey, a very moody and calm improvisation. Ok, that probably applies to many of my current improvisations. Let's say particularly calm and atmospheric. The post-production certainly contributes to that.

Brucite - Day 222

Hey, actually I just wanted to get a little more familiar with the F# minor scale today and to anchor it deep in my ‘emotional memory’, I often improvise little pieces like this one. (Perhaps it would be better to call them ‘etudes’.) Here the sequence of notes A, G#, F# stands out a little and that's why I'm calling the piece ‘A GisFis’ (from the German of A, Gis, Fis). Enjoy.
