Born out of a desire to bring a fresh movement of forward thinking techno, minimal and house to the Leicester underground electronic music scene, Munich was established in the summer or 2014. Dissatisfied with the nights around them, a small group of like-minded friends came together to form Munich. More than just a party, Munich is an ethos based on a passion for deep grooves, subtle textures, organic elements, hypnotic bass lines, refined percussion and thumping techno that can be shared by all. Although only in its early stages, the event has created a shockwave of excitement. Housed in some of the most raw, urban locations in the city, the focus is to always pick a venue that embodies the spirit of Munich. With a firm focus on their close-knit roster of residents, as well as bringing carefully hand-picked guests from the UK and further afield, Munich is a name that is making a powerful mark on the midlands for intelligently minded electronic music.  Munich has collaborated with Data Transmission to bring coverage, mixes from residents/guests and tickets for future events. 

Munich returns in autumn following a packed out residents party in late August, to bring another night all about the music. As the sun starts to set a little earlier in the sky, we stay true to the distinctive Munich ethic, with a focus on forward thinking techno, deep-tech and minimal electronic music. Once again you will find Munich in the deep confines of Leicester electronic music stronghold, Sophbeck.

Die Freude wenn man die Seifenblasen das erste Mal den Himmel hochschweben sieht oder die Wut darüber, wenn sie immer wieder kurz nacheinander zerplatzen und es einfach nicht so gelingen will. Genau so ist es mit unseren Träumen, Wünschen, Zielen oder unserer Hoffnung. Einige davon fliegen ohne Grenzen umher und andere platzen sofort … viele auch später in Momenten wo man nicht mehr damit rechnete. Der Moment, in dem einen die Realität schlagartig einholt.. ohne Vorwarnung; ohne Gnade. Diese Augenblicke holen die Menschen in Sekunden auf den Boden der Tatsachen zurück. Dennoch hat man es bereits als Kind immer wieder und wieder probiert… solange bis man den Dreh herausbekommen hat und lernte, die größten und schönsten Seifenblasen von allen zu formen. Egal wie schnell oder wie langsam manche Träume zerplatzen… Es gibt auch immer wieder Dinge, die in Erfüllung gehen und wunderschöne Augenblicke mit Menschen, die für einen da sind auch ohne nur ein Wort sagen zu müssen. Auch Wunder geschehen immer wieder. Denn genau so wie man nicht mehr damit rechnete, dass die Seifenblase platzt, gibt es auch kleine Seifenblasen, die unendlich weit schweben und unser Herz erstrahlen lässt… Man darf nur nie aufgeben.

Sunny greetings from Berlin !! Its March, 08th and K K Podcast Berlin is back on air and just in time for World Women's Day, we present to you Electric Indigo from Vienna, Austria !!
Electric Indigo has been working as international DJ and musician for more than 20 years. Her name stands for the intelligent interpretation of Techno and electronic music. She started to explore live improvisation and free musical experimentation in 2002. In doing so with musicians like Pia Palme, Annelie Gahl or Dorit Chrysler, she disregards usual genre limits.
Important works in recent years comprise multi-channel compositions like "Chiffres" [premiere at Wien Modern / e_may Festival 2012], "ABSTRIAL" [a contemporary opera and collaborative work with Pia Palme, Paola Bianchi and Ivan Fantini, premiere at KosmosTheater, Vienna, 2013], "109.47 degrees" [premiere at Dunkle Zeiten Festival, Vienna, 2014], "Morpheme" [a/v version with visuals by Thomas Wagensommerer, premiere at CTM Festival, Berlin, 2015].
Her new record "Cinq/Zero" was released on Suicide Circus Dark Series in January 2015. Together with Trishes, Electric Indigo will curate the Popfest Vienna 2015.

Jonas aka Kontinum, who grew up in the far north of Germany, moved to Leipzig after 20 years of wind and rain. There he was quickly inspired by the prevailing sounds of the @institut-fuer-zukunft and finally started the Kontinum project in 2016 with a focus on atmospheric and dissociative Techno. Over the years, the palette of sounds grew and now ranges from ambient to deep techno to contemporary club-oriented techno. 
In 2017, he founded the @nebulakollektiv with a couple of friends and started hosting the first illegal events. In the course of time, Nebula has also found its way into the Leipzig club scene and is now an integral part of it.
2022 up to 2024 he held a residency at Institut fuer Zukunft and he still co-host of the infamous Aequalis events after the closure of IFZ.
Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound pivoting from
conventional techno towards more genre-fluid styles.

True to their deep, widescreen approach to both production and live-performing, Parisian outfit Atomic Moog clock in with a helluva sleek and lushly relief’d mix, recorded on the occasion of their latest live performance at Outre Bleu on March 29. Through their releases for the likes of Delsin, Appian, Lowless or Monument, the French duo has been carving a niche for itself at the fringes of the dubbed-out techno tradition and abstract-leaning experimentality. This 90 minutes jaunt into their reverb and delay-heavy imaginarium has us moving across narrow corridors and cathedral-large spaces by turn, exploring the concept of spatialization in dance music under a new, boundary-pushing light. Through focal-shifting jumps between acid-drenched beds of rippling analogue sine waves and sizzling machine circuitry, the constant angle shifts from macro to micro tell a tale of vibrant sound research, not quite picking a side between the dance floor’s sense of purpose and genre-unbound, creative unintentionality.

Here we present a live recording from Franko sourced deep within the Norwegian woods at this years Fragments forest event.

Words from the artist - 

This recording is from my closing set at the second forest rave we hosted with Fragments in the Norwegian woods this summer – a night that turned into our biggest production so far, and one I’m really proud of.

The set starts in complete darkness, slowly building in tempo and groove, shifting into lighter melodies and psychedelic playfulness as the sun began to rise. Morning sets like these are some of my favorites: balancing the ups and downs, keeping people on the floor without pushing too hard, while leaving space to breathe. A mix of joy, freedom, and the quiet melancholy of summer coming to an end.

As the sun rose over the hill behind me, we decided to extend the set by half an hour to let the first rays hit the dance floor through the smoke and create a truly magical morning. It gave me the chance to play some of the most beautiful tracks I know and gently bring everything to a halt. It was definitely one of the most fun and meaningful moments I’ve had behind the decks.

Today we celebrate the 50th chapter of our podcast and for the occasion there's a special one served for you. 10 years ago when we were still trance heads and started to discover the world of technoid sounds some albums gave an important impact on us. We got to hear this tribalistic and beautiful track called "Trance State" in a mixtape and when finding the whole album with its concept, artwork and hearing the rest of the music, it touched our souls. Something new but still familiar. After some years we were fortunate to be able to work with the author of that masterpiece for remix work and we're proud to have his contribution on Navigare Audio.

When you listen to Sebastian Mullaert’s music you will feel something enchanting, a resonance that delivers truth, integrity and reminds us to simply be. The Swedish artist has a distinct approach to life, as well as music, which is centred around tranquillity, stillness and the convergence of Zen meditation, nature and creativity. Known for his work as one half of Minilogue, Sebastian is also an accomplished solo artist with new material ready to roll. As an artist that is constantly evolving he has taken a bold new direction in his sonic exploration, immersing himself in the neo-classical scene and joining forces with one of the top 10 philharmonic orchestras in the world - Tonhalle Zürich. Working with great care and innovation he has created a truly immersive audio-visual performance experience, combining a mesmerising integration of electronic and classical instrumentation, with a visual art installation based on breath taking nature landscapes shot from a helicopter perspective. With such an innovative approach he aims to bridge the gap between classical and electronic music and introduce a whole new generation to the neo-classical concept. 

Sebastian's deep connection with music can be traced back to his formative years; from playing the organ and violin as a child, to performing in orchestras, string quartets and pop band, progressing into electronic music in his late teens. Discovering house and techno in the mid-nineties was the catalyst behind a revolution in his life, he set out on a new musical pathway, to promote the simplicity of being. Throughout the late nineties he experimented with electronic sounds, forming cult duo Minilogue with a friend and releasing with Crosstown Rebels, Traum Schallplatten, Wagon Repair and more, plus two albums via Cocoon – ‘Animals’ (2008) and ‘Blomma’ (2013). In 2014, the duo decided to take a break and invest their time in solo projects and Sebastian has since been hard at work cultivating a collection of new music already snapped up by hugely influential labels such as R&S sub-label Apollo, Drumcode, Hypercolour and Minus.

Sebastian Mullaert’s live performances are awe-inspiring, combining technical wizardry with energy, atmosphere and euphoria, you only have to watch his “Interpretations” performance for XLR8R or Boiler Room appearance for examples of his prowess. Recognition of his aptitude has led him to perform at institutions and festivals such as Panorama Bar - Berlin, Labyrinth Festival - Japan, Fabric - London, Concrete - Paris, The Block - Tel Aviv and Blackmarket - NYC. 

Sebastian’s collaborative work runs parallel to his solo endeavours and he has teamed up with several figures in the techno world to produce some unforgettable releases. Collaborators include Mathew Jonson, Eitan Reiter, Aril Brikha and Ulf Eriksson, and releases have come via underground platforms such as Hypnus, Mule Musiq and Kontra Musik. He also produces under the alias Wa Wu We, offering a serene, understated take on the techno aesthetic. Furthermore he is involved in the new Be Yokai project, a trio formed of Sebastian, Douglas Holmquist and Kristoffer Ström. The three men formed a natural alliance, finding their flow after several sessions together. Their first EP is signed to Hypercolour sub-label Space Hardware, with a live show and more music in the pipeline.

Sebastian Mullaert is already established as a potent force in the world of electronic music. Serious about reminding people to BE on the dance floor, or in the comfort of their own home, the music he makes is deep, progressive and utterly unique. Whatever the future holds, you can be sure he will continue to channel the infinite energy that surrounds us into every facet of his life.
