Abandoned infant found on ‪#‎Pasadena‬ roadway

On July 4th 2015 at 2343 hours, Eastern District Officers responded to the 900 block of Druid Hill Ave Pasadena MD, for an abandoned child call. Upon arrival they made contact with a neighborhood resident who stated they located a 2-3 month old infant female. The child was found in a car seat carrier on the side of the road. Scuff marks on the carrier and other debris indicate that the carrier may have fell off of a moving vehicle.
The infant was transported by EMS to a local hospital, where she is being treated for dehydration and will be released to the Department of Child Protective Services.
An active investigation is underway to the identity of the child and her parents.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-6145 and ask to speak with an on duty supervisor or call 911.
