We welcome Curtiss for the seventy-fifth edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series. Curtiss was born in Dunaújváros, Hungary, but has been residing in Switzerland for the past 12 years. With a musical journey that began in 2009 amidst the lively house party scene of Hungary, Curtiss quickly emerged as a defining figure, setting the tone for memorable evenings of celebration and musical discovery. In 2012, he moved to Switzerland, where he quickly became part of the vibrant nightlife scene, playing at many top clubs and bars.

In 2016, Curtiss embarked on a visionary endeavour by launching "Bekool," an online radio platform that serves as a sanctuary for discerning listeners, offering a curated selection of fine, soft deep house beats that evoke emotions. As the streaming waves of "Bekool" continue to flow unabated, Curtiss remains steadfast in his commitment to delivering a musical experience that captivates and resonates with audiences worldwide. Curtiss's sonic palette is a harmonious fusion of Organic House, Deep House, Chill, and Lounge, enriched by occasional forays into the realms of Tech House and Deep Tech, showcasing his flexibility and commitment to exploring artistic horizons. The name "Bekool" has evolved from a cherished radio show into a thriving podcast, extending its reach to an ever-expanding audience. Not content with merely broadcasting his passion for music, Curtiss has elevated the "Bekool" project to new heights, embarking on a transformative journey as the founder of Bekool Records and Bekool Lounge (2023), a beacon of innovation and creativity in the electronic music scene.

Curtiss has made a lasting impact on the global music scene, captivating audiences with his enchanting sets in iconic venues like Marbella, Spain. To mark the 50th release on Brouqade, we reach back into the catalog and release as a set of remixes Arno's album “We Perfectly Understand Each Other Until We Start To Talk” a work that touches on the finer problems inherent to human communication.For this unique Album, released in 2019, three distinctive reworkings offer new breath to the original tracks: Baby Ford conducts a lean and hypnotic revision played in minimal fashion, Kuyateh widens out textures with deep organic rhythms and Dana Ruh puts her distinctive groove-orientated stamp on the material.
 
The bonus on the release is from Arno — a meditative composition that acts as middle ground in terms of his musical language.
 
In operation midway between introspection and movement, BQD050 depicts the very spirit of Brouqade: depth, warmth, a timeless dancefloor poetry.
