Victor Ruiz - Live Set At Fusion Festival (2016)

Tim Green is back with another brace of high impact club tunes of the sort that have made him one of the most in-demand producers of the day.

Whether serving up rolling techno treats for Cocoon, essential mixes for the Body Language series on Get Physical or laying down compelling club sets in the DJ booth, Brit Tim Green is unstoppable right now. Here he steps up to the Get Weird imprint with two more tantalising cuts that show just how broad and brilliant an artist he is.

Stirring opener ‘For A Memory’ is eleven minutes of wordless and intoxicating female vocals, slick rubbery drums and plunging bass. The overall effect is hypnotic, rolling and perfectly groovy, and it will no doubt have whole dancefloors locked under its spell. Some little melodic explosions, sweeping filters and luscious pads all help add a real air of grace to proceedings that mark it out as another classic from Green.

‘For A Distant Memory’ is a subtle but noteworthy reworking of the same cut. In this one, the drums are less direct and more stripped back, there is a focus on the angelic, glowing pads and on spine tingling slices of synth that are reflective and emotive as they drop in and out. It is a perfectly trance inducing, heart warming cut that the likes of Lee Burridge at his All Day I Dream parties, or various DJs playing on a sun kissed terrace around the globe, will all lap right up.

Aio hat uns einen Podcast geliefert der nicht nur sein Release bei uns ankündigt, sondern auch sehr feinfühlig zusammengestellt ist. Der junge Mann hat sich sehr früh die Kunst des Mixens und das produzieren von Musik angeeignet, was deutlich zu spüren ist wenn man seine Werke hört. Er selber gibt sich sehr genau und anspruchsvoll was seine Musik betrifft, was einfach manchmal zu einer längeren Entfaltungsphase führt. Wir finden dies nicht wirklich problematisch, denn das fertige Produkt entschädigt dann umso mehr. 
Am 05.08.2016 erscheint bei uns seine EP mit dem Namen „Majesty“ und diese wird unterstütz von Dole&Kom, Vamos Art und Welticke and Kischkel in Form von Remixen. Wir sind stolz und freuen uns ihn nicht nur heute mit einem Podcast präsentieren zu können, sondern auch mit seiner EP.

Discovering the art of DJ Screw was a mindblowing experience back in the early 2000's.  It's been a major influence on rap music ever since and has had a major impact on my appreciation of music in general all these years. Ive done screwed up versions of many songs from many genres and eras since then, but never really shared any so far. The bug hit me again over the last months, and i started screwing up old disco and boogie 45RPM vinyls, one after the other, until i reached a dozen songs i was really happy with. Here's the first one, more to come, enjoy!
