https://soundcloud.com/wavefold (Filippo Nunziale) is a producer and deejay based in Padua, northern Italy, active since 2015. Deeply into sound and music since childhood, absorbing mostly hip-hop and alternative as a kid, his first electronic productions floated around Ambient and IDM, a sound expressed through few releases on Chevel’s Enklav label. He later developed a Uk-bass leaning sound, based on recombining sonic elements from Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Dub and Breakbeat to assemble a new, evolved audio DNA. In 2021 he founded with fellow producer Coeden Wetware Echo, an imprint focused on exploring the bass continuum through sci-fi, techno-folklore and cyberculture contaminations. The two also produce and perform together as Aural Stream. 

Q:"What was a crucial sound experience in your life?"
A:"One of the most crucial audio-experiences in my life was hearing a blasted and chopped Amen Break during Roll The Dice’s live set at Atonal 2017, the first time I was listening to electronic music on a proper, good sounding sound system. From that moment on breakbeats re-surfaced in my music consciousness, becoming a central element in my sonic practice. (the mentioned sound is featured in the mix)"
