When I was about 9 years old, I remember renting a game called "Revenge of the Shinobi for the Sega Genesis. I wasn't very good at playing it, but there was something about this ninja game that caught my attention at that time—the music. I would sometimes go to the options menu and listen to the background music. This piece that I remixed is from the first level of the game. The track is entitled "The Shinobi" originally composed by Yuzo Koshiro, who also composed the music for the Streets of Rage series,

ザ・スーパー忍ステージ1のリメイクしてみた！(Revenge of Shinobi) Remake Stage 1

When I was a child I always wondered how some of the tracks in Castlevania Symphony of the Night would sound if they where played by a real orchestra, so  decided to make a remake of some of those pieces using modern sample libraries to get an aproximation, modifiying the original arrangements the least possible. This is my version of "Wood Carving Partita", the music from the old library. I hope you enjoy it.
The Libraries I used are Spitfire Audio Sable 1 and 2, Harpsichord and Flute Consort.

MADE IT! Phew. I've been away on a work trip for 5 days, and holy fuck what a nightmarish week it's been. 16 hour work days are NOT fun. Next time the release window is this insanely short I think I'll just postpone for another week so I can rest up instead of work my arse off. Anyway, on to the song:

Much like the Deli Shop Quartet arrange I previously uploaded, this thing is incredibly old. It was meant for a Tyrian arrange disc me, melonman67 and some other peeps were doing together, but the project was never finished and not a single song ever got released. That's a bit sad, and there are some cool tunes on there, so I figured I'd pick another one up and screw around with it. I ended up screwing around a lot. Melonman67 wrote the original arrange, and while I'd originally intended to just touch it up a bit, I somehow ended up re-arranging the entire damn piece. Since my rendition is completely different from the original I'm going to go ahead and provide a link to the original as well for those interested. Also, 'sup melonman!
