AstroPilot is a space electronic / progressive music project. Dmitriy Redko is the name behind AstroPilot. AstroPilot has been working with sound since 2000. Dmitriy has released 10 albums and 4 singles; he also has in his discography more than 30 compilations with his tracks released worldwide on various labels. He is one of the leading and most traveled ar tists from Russian and Ukrainian psychedelic scene. AstroPilot plays at many international festivals, outdoors and indoors events in Australia, Greece, France, Portugal, Israel, Monten egro, Bulgaria, Czech republic, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Belorussia, Russia, Ukraine. AstroPilot’s music style ranges from deep space ambient to atmospheric uptempo. Since 2010 music from this project has been used in the famous iPhone/iPad/iPod apps 'Solar Walk' and 'Star Walk'. In 2012, Dmitriy moved to Kiev and made a series of successful audio - visual shows with ambient music and fulldome technologies. Bio:

Medular is a minimal psychedelic glitch project from Mexico City which has emerged from the union of Brun González (a.k.a. Brun Balanced) and Pablo Peniche (a.k.a. Xom Pax).

It drives from experimenting with live synths and hypnotic jam sessions that coalesce into beautifully evolving tracks and elegant acid beats.

This aesthetic comes from trying to bring the psychedelic glitch Spirit into minimal techno in a more free and experimental way that is alive and breaths from the interaction of the digital and analogue entities.

While looking to bring back the analogue modular-esque sound generating sequencer based tunes, Medular makes use of the many ways of sculpting noise and Worshiping the Glitch.

Oceanvs Orientalis Live @ Garbicz Festival 2018 - Nomade Takeover

The Ivory Boy is the pseudonym behind which Italian born DJ and producer Luca Spinogatti operates. Now based in the welcoming city of Berlin, Germany, he regularly performs in the city’s many clubs and venues. 
Besides his solo project, he performs live with Mop Mop Soundsystem.

The Ivory Boy joined us for our fifth podcast and here are some questions he replied for us.

Kanto: What pushed you towards DJing? Where did the inspiration come from?

Luca: The most common scenario. My father's record collection and me trying to scratch with a belt drive turntable... Music has been always present in my childhood. My father and my uncle used to have large record collections.

Kanto: Do you think music interconnects with culture? How does the environment you live in affect your music?

Luca: Absolutely. Music is always an exchange between at least two elements. Author and audience for sure but also the composer and the elements around her/him. So the inputs from cultural and social moment are strong to me.

Kanto: What’s the process you follow when bringing tunes together? Is it instinctive only or do you plan ahead?

Luca: I always listen to music and collect records. I am a vinyl DJ. (I respect every form of DJing. Music is the message, not the technique or the wax fetish.) that means you have to prepare your record bag and you can bring a certain amount of records. So you can't just pick random tunes. Actually, the moment when I prepare the record bag is holy. It's a beautiful sensation: adding the new tunes as picking an old jam. And yeah I am addicted to 7 inches.

Kanto: Do you get inspired by any other form of arts?

Luca: I get inspired by the beauty and it can be everything. It's just a way to see things deeper. Beauty is everywhere.

Kanto: What makes a set a good set?

Luca: The music! Selection over technique. Always.

Kanto: You seem to have a wide range of sources. Is there any particular era or bands that influence you more?

Luca: I think James Brown, George Clinton, and Rick James among others.

Kanto: What would you like to say about your podcast?

Luca: Listen to and make love with it.

A deeper and slightly slower mix than my usual antics to fit with the beautiful and groovy pace of a Saturday Sunset at the mighty Suti Festival in Central Portugal... Starting with Groovy sounds of the Jungle before heading into Majestic Asia where we stumble across a circus that uses psychedelics to hypnotise us .. We are quickly lead out of the back door into a world of entrancing drums and gritty grooves before we step out and find we're kind of back where we started... but it all feels a bit...erm... different ;)

Seb care for detail also extends to event organization and decor, having organized Burning Island festival in Indonesia from 2012-16 and Suti festival in Portugal from 2018 to the present.
