Feb. 15, 2015: New mixdown with the Roland Motional Surround® and RSS® technology (Not optimized for headphones).
The RSS-10 is a single rack space unit that utilizes Roland's proprietary three-dimensional sound processing technology. Using a conventional two-channel system, sound can be placed or moved anywhere in the three-dimensional field.
The Motional Surround (inside the Integra 7) is derived from Roland’s proprietary RSS (Roland Sound Space) technology. Lets you control not only the left/right panning of sounds, but also their depth, even placing them behind you.

About the track:
I started making electronic music (using Atari/Amiga and few synths) when I was 13 and have created a remake of my very first track.
I grew up listening to Jean Michel Jarre who has been one of my inspirations.
I went back in time to bring out the song I first created...
and brought back to life a soundtrack I want share with you.

The result of me wanting to give this great theme song my own twist.
Being a fan of Game Of Thrones I just had to take this into my studio and see what would come out of it. 

No midi file or loops were utilized in the making of this song. I wanted to learn the parts, figure them out, enjoy the process of discovering music, discover emotions, chords and grooves.
The original theme was composed by Ramin Djawadi and published by Varèse Sarabande.

Mixed and produced at Xenomorph Studio, Vancouver, BC, Canada. December 2012.

これまでポストパンクやシューゲイザーなどのジャンルで広く認識されていたジェレミー・トイ（以下、ジェレミー）率いるバンドShe's So Radは今回のE.P.制作にあたり自身が深く精通する80'sディスコやブギーサウンドのテイストを取り入れスペシャルなディスコサウンドを制作。ジェレミーは今回のレコーディングにおいてMoog、DMX、Drumtraks等のヴィンテージのアナログシンセ、エフェクター、ドラムマシーンなど使用し、ニュージーランドオークランドにある映画館跡の地下スタジオで自らそれらの楽器を演奏しすべて録音。80'sの録音手法を再現する為に、コンピューターのシンセサイザーやサンプリングマシーンの一切の使用を避け、本物のミュージシャンが本物の楽器を使うスタイルで当時のリアルな音を再現。ジェレミーは「ポストパンクのバンドがライブでブギーをプレーできるなんて最高だよね。ロックバンドがブギーミュージックに持ち込めるエナジーって言ったらスゴいんだよ。＜Marcus Miller＞や＜Tom Browne＞よりも＜E.S.G＞や＜Talking Heads＞みたいな生の荒々しいの感覚に近くなってると思うんだよね。勿論＜Marcus Miller＞や彼らからもこのE.Pを作るに辺りスゴい影響は受けてるんだけどね・・」

ゲストプレイヤーとしてご存じデトロイト出身で現在はニュージーランド（オークランド）を拠点に活動するプロデューサーRecloose（リクルース）がDisco Star(B3)にサックスプレイヤーとして、そしてLive Via Camloops(B1)にキーボード・プレイヤーのステップ・ブラウン aka Lipsが参加。マスタリングはJ Dilla、Quasimoto、J Roccなどストーンズスロー作品等も手掛けるLAのマスタリングエンジニア、Dave Cooleyが担当。

She's So Rad - Last Dance E.P. (WN12030)

Until now, the band She’s So Rad have been synonymous with post/punk,shoegaze music. With the ‘Last Dance E.P.’ producer Jeremy Toy has dug deep in his knowledge of disco and boogie to create a ‘special disco version’ release for the band. The result is a 6 track E.P. full of disco/boogie heat.

Last Dance E.P. has been created entirely with analog synths, live instruments and 1980’s era specific drum machines all performed by Jeremy Toy, recorded in his studio beneath a rundown cinema in his hometown of Auckland, New Zealand. There is no use of soft-synths or software based samplers as Toy wanted to deliver a record that was made “like they used to make records” with real musicians playing real instruments. The heart of this record is a Moog synthesizer, DMX and Drumtraks drum machines. Vocals are performed by Anji Sami and Jeremy Toy in unison to create their unique vocal sound.

The record has been made at the highest fidelity possible, 24bit 88.2khz, so that the vinyl pressing can be as sonically full and as close to reality as a digital recording can be.These songs have been transformed live by the band and the band can now play disco party sets on request as an alternative to their shoegaze sets. Toy has said
of this change “it is such a great thing to be able to play this live boogie with a band that is used to playing post punk music, the energy a rock band brings to the boogie music is great, we end up with a live sound that is much closer to the raw feeling of E.S.G. or Talking Heads than the super smooth boogie of Marcus Miller and Tom Browne although these artists are also big influences on the E.P.” The E.P. has guest appearances from Recloose - saxophone on ‘Disco Star’ and Steph Brown (aka Lips) - Sequential Circuits Pro-One synth wobbles on ‘Live Via Camloops’.No stranger to a large variety of genres of music, Toy is a past participant at the Red Bull Music Academy and has produced records for Opensouls, Tyra Hammond & The Tornadoes, Ladi6, Lips,Hollie Smith and The Sami Sisters as well as appearing on records by Julien Dyne, Liam Finn, Electric Wire Hustle, Homebrew, David Dallas and Mark De Clive-Lowe.

Xenomorph Productions is the name of my independent studio I work from primarily and to which I own. It is where I create music, do remixes, work on production or mastering of other peoples work, as well as my own and also where I conduct any graphic design or other creative subject from. In terms of company and a bit of personal history my first release was in 1995 [ 4-track tape ] on a Norwegian Compilation CD. My musical journey started with the most basic equipment working my way from 100% analog up to today's digital setups. This allowed me to experience how things used to be created and recorded bringing that experience to the digital age. I have released music professionally since around the year 2000, giving me about 18 years of experience with music and the music industry.
I have written music in genres ranging from EDM/Industrial/Metal to Synth Pop/Trip-Hop and Orchestral.

"With roots grown from aggressive electronic artists such as Prodigy, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, and Frontline Assembly, Sebastian Komor
experimented with a variety of techno/EBM projects in the mid-90s before forming Icon of Coil with vocalist Andy LaPlegua in Norway, in 1997. Icon of Coil was soon signed to Tatra Records, and within a few short years was known worldwide as one of the seminal acts in the new Futurepop genre. The mid 2000s saw Komor expand into additional genres such as aggrotech and industrial dance with new projects Komor Kommando and Zombie Girl, both on Belgian label Alfa Matrix. Meanwhile Komor amassed a gargantuan list of remix credits for world-class artists including Apoptygma Berzerk, Theater Of Tragedy, VNV Nation, KMFDM, Alphaville, Celldweller, Front Line Assembly, and Juno
Reactor.
In late '07, Sebastian came to the attention of FiXT Music. in 2010, FiXT released Komor's full-length Squarehead and Moonitor projects. Most recently Komor has put all of his focus on Melt, a full-band industrial metal machine now signed to Metropolis Records."
