Following on from the debut Secluded album 'Distant Memories' and the subsequent remix EP towards the end of last year. We start off 2016 with two fresh original tracks. Eternal & Fast Forward are typical Secluded bangers, with solid kick drums, infectious chord sequences and rolling 909 drums. We also have two great remixes rounding off this strong package. Firstly by Berlin based artist and Fachwerk regular Roman Lindau and secondly Dutch duo TWR72, who have caught our eye with impressive releases on Turbo, Planet Rhythm and Float Records. Both artists have created their own excellent versions of the title track.

Secluded is back with another big release to end the year in fine form! After the previous 'Free Your Mind' on SECLUDED004, we now take a darker turn. Going Through Phases features three quality new cuts of dancefloor orientated techno. 'Metric Ton' 'Phases' & 'Vibrations' perfectly encapsulate the sound of Secluded, with heavy grooving sub bass, 909 drums and chord sequences which can cut right through you.

The first Secluded release of 2017 comes in the shape of two pumping new Secluded jams. 'Beyond Thunder' & 'Witness' are both typical peak time Secluded bangers. This impressive package also features quality remixes by Roberto & Bleak. Roberto is a techno artist from London, who has been releasing great music on the likes of Fachwerk, Arts, Affin and his own imprint Fossil Archive. Bleak is well known for his slick productions, bringing a deep hypnotic style. This Swedish producer, has released a string of successful EP's for Delsin, Deeply Rooted House and more recently his own label Naura Records. It's a pleasure to have both of these guys on board for this release!

Secluded is the eponymous artist and label project from Stephen Gorrie, who is also known to many as Hans Bouffmyhre, owner of the influential Sleaze Records in Glasgow, Scotland.

This alias was launched in 2012 and has a new focus for his production style. Strong Berlin and Detroit influences have seen his original music on labels such as Slam's Soma, Dustin Zahn's Enemy and London's EarToGround for example.

Enlisting reworks from leading artists including Jonas Kopp, Reeko, Truncate, Woo York, Markus Suckut, ROD, Shifted, Sigha and more, Secluded's club ready sound is widely loved and always pushing forward to new heights.

The eighth release also includes remixes from two titans, Rolando and Xpansul.

Detroit born DJ Rolando was a member of the highly influential Underground Resistance, which also included people like Jeff Mills and Mike Banks.

Rolando’s track “Jaguar” is to many one of the greatest Techno records of all time, and outside of Underground Resistance he has featured music on revered labels such as Delsin and Ostgut Ton.

A key player in Spain's underground club scene and the owner of True Type Tracks, Xpansul is an artist boasting releases on labels like Soma, Josh Wink’s Ovum and Cari Lekebusch's H.Productions.

The opening track "Functional" is packed with tailor made club energy. Wasting no time, the looping piano chords constantly push forward, ready to ignite the dancefloor.

Rolando's remix brings more bounce and funk to the equation, as he reworks key elements into his own solid groove. His toned down approach creates a wonderfully unique take.

"Do It Right" focuses on a stomping beat with a quirky old school piano riff to cement the jamming rhythm. An electric style synth adds edginess, whilst gritty texture effects add fuel to the fire taking it to a new dimension.

The final track and remix from Xpansul works a jacked up with shuffling groove. With additional deep textures from scything synth notes, the extra musicality is impressive as it takes on a life of its own.

For our 9th release we are excited to present the latest Secluded project, Untitled Basement Dubs. Featuring 5 fresh slabs of loopy techno bangers, expertly produced by the man himself. BD.01 kicks things off with a classic off-beat chord stab, slammed on top of a heavy rolling beat. BD.02 is a more straight affair. The entire track is centred around a catchy bass sequence, which growls along nicely throughout. BD.03 takes us on a more hypnotic tip, with gradual building elements, layered over the top of a deep, staggered kick drum. BD.04 brings the groove! Comprised of a pumping kick & sub-bass combination, with razor sharp percussion and intense rave stabs. Finally, BD.05 closes the EP with a bang. Definitely the most intense track of all 5, with a tempo of 134bpm and a solid kick drum, you know right from the first beat there is no messing around here.

Secluded, a new alias created at the beginning of 2012 by Sleaze Records label boss Hans Bouffmyhre. With the aim to explore a new techno vibe, inspired by sounds from Berlin & Detroit, Secluded productions are characterised with a deep pounding beat, softened by dubby synth passages and soundscapes, creating a gloomy atmosphere. With vinyl releases already out on EarToGround & Sleaze Records, including remixes by Jonas Kopp, Markus Suckut, Mike Dehnert & Shifted, big things are expected for the future!
